As someone from Houston, it's crazy to think that the Crip's influence defused so far from Los Angeles (thats where I believe they originate but I'm not an expert so please correct me if I'm from). I knew about it from people like Maxo Kream with the 52 hoovers and being from Acres Homes, I've even seen them pass by although they mainly are in the Alief / southwest area. As someone from these environments, I could never understand why someone from the outside would even want a lifestyle where survival consistent of constantly being close to death/ incarceration at every waking moment. If you live a comfortable life afforded to you by your luck of being born into it, please do not take it for granted. As someone from Houston, it's crazy to think that the Crip's influence defused so far from Los Angeles (thats where I believe they originate but I'm not an expert so please correct me if I'm from).
