Its all in the approach with Shaun; right down to the way you phrase your wording. Lim and Glassman have perfected the art of approaching Shaun with feedback, be it negative or positive. They both understand heavily that Shaun doesn't communicate like normal people and that minor or major adjustments are needed for the message to be properly received. It also helps that Shaun isn't arrogant like Melendez was... he's willing to admit to his mistakes once he realizes what they are.

I get what Lim was saying but this whole thing was partially her fault. She's known Shaun for three years, she should know by now if you tell him to back off there's not really an in-between for him, and he won't actively intervene unless the newbies explicitly tell him they suspect something is wrong or they explicitly say they aren't sure about something(i.e. Olivia explicity saying she thought her patient was a stroke risk and Shaun immediately figuring out she was already having a stroke), because he won't pickup subtle verbal implications(i.e. Asher asking if Shaun wanted to check his work instead of explicitly telling him he was concerned that he missed something on his patient's back).
