I had the distinct privilege of seeing Ms. Rivera and Gwen Vernon in the original production of Chicago on Broadway. Remarkably it was a school trip when I was in junior high school. I was mesmerized watching those two legends. I feel blessed that I got to see them and I still can picture them on the stage.
@@susannpatton2893 Season 43 episode 4 of PBS' _Great Performances_ , "Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin’ to Do" which aired on 11/6/2015 is that documentary.
@@RaymondHng Justin suggested a movie. Documentary about her is wonderful. A movie about her would be different from that - it would be another actress playing her
@@susannpatton2893 That would be called a feature narrative film of her instead of a documentary film. Usually the screenplay of such a film would be an adaptation from a book as source material. so glad I spent time in her aura in the 1960's and have seen most of her shows/performances ever since ... thanks for the memories, and the experiemce of being around a stellar human being with fabulous talents and a keen sense of humor 🥰
I have always loved her. She complimented me outside the Kiss of a Spider Woman theater and I have never forgotten how she looked and smiled at me. She was so humble and so kind! VIVA Chita!
I love the heart, soul and finesse Mo puts into his interviews with these legends. He puts them instantly at ease with his gentle, respectful manner and intelligent questions. Such a lovely thing to see. Miss Rivera looks radiant by the way. What a class act! 😍😍🤩🤩
Dear Jennifer Lopez. You don't or will have the extraordinary talent that of Chita. She is the standard of what it means to be a triple threat (singer, dancer and actor). I hope young Latina's are reading this. You don't have to be half naked or sleep with every guy or have everyone know your business to be famous.
Fonda has also been in Moving On with Tomlin and The Book Club with Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton, and Mary Steenburgen. Supposedly, Fonda has been a driving force in getting those movies greenlit.

Fun Fact before Chita, The Visit was supposed to star Angela Lansbury another legend
She’s sprier than most folks a third her age.
RIP 👑💃🇵🇷🪦💐🕊
Met. Her in. Waikiki
I'm an fan of hers besides Rita Moreno
With the proliferation older woman films...I would love to see one with Chita Rivera and Rita Moreno. Jane Fonda are you listening?!
Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, Lily Tomlin, and Sally Field were in _80 for Brady_ that was released two months ago.

The original Velma.
OMG, I this was going to be about her passing
this guy acts insulting.
