Nice video. I learned this song right after I heard it. One important note you left out was there are no overdubs in this song. It is all arpeggios with hammer on and pull offs. I agree that Mark used many folk/country techniques in May 9th. He also has remnants of his bass playing which he did early on with the thumb and finger style of his picking on this particular arrangement where he accents the first note of each chord movement. Very reminiscent of "Travis picking." A beautiful song with its outward simplicity and inner techniques that are challenging to play correctly.
Great video. If I could give a recommendation, I think give a preview of what you're going to teach in the beginning as I wasn't familiar with Khruangbin but was interested in the psychedelic guitar side.
