Just a few years ago, the general tone of most discussions about GHG mitigation was that CO2 removal was pie in the sky. Now, it seems the mainstream view, and the question is mostly about which approach to use. That's REALLY gratifying to see. I believe the high costs that prevail right now are the very reason that the emphasis needs to be on technology-based methods, because those are most amenable to cost reduction, due to the economies of mass production of DAC devices AND renewable energy systems.
