I watched Maid in Manhattan again a couple weeks ago and I talked to my mom about it the next day and we had this long conversation about how romcoms are really dead because films emphasize the comedy now more than the classics late-90s, early 2000s films did. With the exception of the Proposal, Hitch, 27 Dresses, and Crazy, Stupid, Love most of are just not good anymore.
"While You Were Sleeping" staring Sandra Bullock, is the ONLY Rom Com that chokes me up. I've seen it countless times and it still gets me EVERY DAMN TIME!!! HONORABLE MENTION: "Forces of Nature"
