Thank you!!! Yes! Absolutely! I try to use up every last bit that I can! Yes, just cover up those holes! I’ve even turned the hole part into the tops of tags! Just keep in mind what you want to use it for when trimming the paper! So many options, instead of just throwing it away!! Happy crafting!
I really enjoyed your process. It's so satisfying to watch. I also like the paper pad you used. i like the floral red white and blue. So pretty! Not to mention I love mini slimline cards. TYFS!
I think you have made me a BIG fan of mini slimline!!! SOOO cute and an efficient use of the paper! The colors here may have influenced me too!! I don't think I have this paper pad? I know, seems impossible. 💙💙💙 Real life does interrupt our crafting so it's great that you explained your phases.
Thank you so much, Sarah! It’s a cute pad for sure! Yes! I’m loving the mini slim lines lately!!! Exactly! Less scraps with these! Thanks for watching!
I actually buy the “# 6-3/4” size from dollar tree! They come 40 per pack, and they are self seal. I show them in a recent Dollar tree haul video on my channel. But, you can buy that standard size almost anywhere! They are perfect for MSL!
I love how you do these tutorials it’s super helpful!! The cards turned out great!!! Simple but beautiful!! And I was also wondering where you got the guillotine cutter you used I was going to try to buy one but I don’t know where the best place to get it is!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much, Tiffany! Mine is the Paper Studio Brand guillotine from Hobby Lobby. I bought it when the paper studio brand was on sale 50% off. (Of course! 😂) it’s a really great one! I’ve had it for at least 3 years, and it’s been one of the best trimmers I’ve ever had. It’s my go to for smaller cuts! Happy crafting!
Great tutorial-tfs. Was wondering if I could get the sizes for DSP and card stock base measurements for the slim card as well as the DSP for the A2 cards-thanks so much!
Thank you! A2 size card is an 8-1/2x 11” cardstock cut in half. Either way works: either cut at 4-1/4 on 8-1/2” side OR cut at 5-1/2 on 11” side. For MSL, cut down to 6-1/2” x 6-1/4”, then fold in half on 6-1/2” side.
Great cards!! I love your “as many as” videos. I make cards for Cards for Soldiers and always look for ideas for quick and efficient use of my paper that makes a great looking card. You fill the bill❤️
I love the way you use every bit of paper! Never would've thought to just cover up the little hole!

Thank you Jill! This batch was mostly a donation batch for soldiers, but I think I might individually mail a few.
