    Own a 160 wide from 2019/2020. Got it as a leftover at a good price cuz of your praises of the board so thank you for that. Love that board. I use it for east coast pow days or Colorado firmer days when it hasnt snowed out west for like a week. Looking forward to the ravine review.

    Hello my friend.
    I'm an intermediate snowboarder (I know how to do all the turns with both feet and still progressing in carving) I intend to use the snowboard to play on the piste (I like speed, but also play with small jumps, foot changes and small tricks). If there is a good amount of snow I like to go off piste sporadically.
    What do you recommend?
    Nidecker Merc, Nidecker Play, Rome Warden, Nitro Cinema , Amplid ticket, K2 Raygun, K2 Raygun pop
    I am open to hear any other suggestions from you.

    When is the Ravine review coming? I have been searching for this year and I’m not sure between the regular or the select. Thanks for putting out such great stuff… it is the only top five I am watching.

    Thanks avran, patreon sub here, another great video. Will you be looking at the national or crewzer for 23? This warden sounds a touch too beginner for me but the freaker sounds too stiff (got a 2019 Hot Knife). How is the national different than the stale crewer?

    • @AngrySnowboarder

      Shape, sidecut, flex pattern. If you're looking for an in between of the Freaker and Warden then you want the Crewzer.

    What size on the Warden would you recommend for 185lb, us9 boots, 173cm?
    Thanks!

    Hey man! Enjoy your vids. I am an intermediate rider looking for a directional board to progress my skills. I am looking at the rome warden, libtech terrain wrecker or k2 raygun. What would be your recommendation?

    Looking to upgrade from an older hand-me-down burton 62. I want a nice all-mountain for a solid price as I like to ride fast and carve, float in powder, and also want to improve a bit in the park. At this point, I'm looking at the Rome Warden or the Salomon Assassin. Which would you recommend? Or is there another that might fit better?

    • @TsunaDragon2

      also noticed huge price cuts on the niche story, maelstrom, and aether but you mentioned they would benefit from including rocker in their profiles, so I assume the warden might be more fun, for an intermediate at least

      57w. or 60w it's kind of dealers choice. More freestyle go 57w, more speed 60w.

    Avran, I don’t know if you read comments on older vids but I am thinking of getting this board as my first camber board after riding Skate Banana for a couple of years (I know how you feel about that board but it was what was recommended to me when I started and I didn’t know any better 😓). Do you think it’ll be fine for a low intermediate rider or should I choose a board with more a cam-rocker profile? Thanks.

    How does this board do in powder? Dont plan on doing back mountain super deep powder, mainly the occasional resort powder. Keen on picking this up as my first board, but I am kinda looking for something like a "one board quiver" and I've heard this doesn't do too hot in powdery conditions

    • @NullWorldOrder
      @NullWorldOrder 8 месяцев назад

      It'll be fine for the occasional resort powder days. Just set the stance back and go.

    • @vinluman
      @vinluman 8 месяцев назад

      @NullWorldOrder thanks! I also plan on picking up a 160W due to my height/size so hopefully the extra length and width help with that too

      @@NullWorldOrder i just took a look and it seems pretty great! unfortunately i think i need a wide board (11.5 boot size), which it doesn't come with. plus i do think i want to start running park this season
      i'm east coast so powder on resorts pretty rarely ever gets super deep, at least from what i saw. i'm just wondering if the warden can handle maybe the occasional foot or two of snow

    • @NullWorldOrder
      @NullWorldOrder 8 месяцев назад

      @@vinlumanif you're eastcoast like me then you'll be fine with the warden for sure. We don't get deep pow days often lol. The instrument is a volume shifted board BTW they're wider boards. I'm picking one up. Where do you ride? I live in NoVa a lot of PA visits for me this season. Probably even some NY and VT.

    Thinking of getting this or yes basic I am 5'7 and 190 lbs beginner snowboard . In the spec size it seems im out of range but you do ride this even though you are out of weight raange? Does that mean that weight range on this board can actually be higher? Any recommendation of board for me thinking to get 155 cm whats the best lenght?

    • @AngrySnowboarder

    I've got this girlfriend gear dilemma. She rode for the 1st time in 13 years last season. Her boots, and bindings were way too f@&#% big. She had size 7 men's boots and she's a 7 women's. I made her replace those with something that fit this season. Now we just gotta sort out her old second hand men's large K2 bindings.
    Her skill level isn't quite there yet. She's counter rotating and skidding her turns (her large bindings also aren't helping). On the bright side she's got a seasons pass and going to get in enough days in to progress. I've got my eye on a couple of last years bindings on sale for her. Some soft Burton Citizens or some stiffer NOW Condas for a bit more money. I'm not sure if the stiffer NOWs will kick her ass while learning, but I also don't want to get her the begginer Burtons if she's just going to progress past them. Thoughts?
