Ay up, thanks for the video. Can I ask what miles/kwh you were averaging during your trip?

      Ay up 😃
Certainly can, it works out to be 3.45mi/kw for the full 1145 miles.
To which I’m very happy with, considering it’s a 2.2t car, over 500miles at +75mph, the running around locally inclusive of elevations.

@@DIYJourney1 That's not to shabby at all. I'd be well happy with that.

Nice one, I really want one of these but have been holding back due to perceived low range, but I can live with that and faster charging when needed over my 290 range but slow changing EV I have now. We do north west England to the Alps and back each year so 600 mile per day is no hassle with 3 or 4 quick charges when we stop anyway.

Really glad to hear this video has been useful to share my experience. Exactly what I was aiming for. It was a really easy trip.

Interesting video thanks. EV driving is not rocket science, but as I think you present well, they do need a little thouught and planning on road trips.
You didn't mention the option of charging from Tesla's superchargers. Some are now available to any make of car. There were some on your route home, including at Cambridge!
They are typically much cheaper than other charging networks - I am sure you know. I have paid 26p per kWh at best and 46p per kWh at worst on Tesla.

Thankyou, yes I am aware of that, but fair comment to mention for others.
For me, I like the ease of Ionity, tesla ones in particular the ones at Eurotunnel and Nurburgring are on the wrong side for my car, so in essence id take two spaces up. Very good chargers though, I just like Ionity for cost and reliability.
