You can get like 300+ Fodder from the Orchard if you pick up all the apples. They are worth 10 Fodder each. Funny you pick up the herbs but ignore all the apples. XD
In New Orchard u can take the good apples on the ground and what you can steal inside the house you can turn into fodder and they give a lot ( 300 or more )
@@okmallgaming Considering that 46 fodder has a value of 138 gold already (12:24), and that's less fodder that you'd get from 5 fruits (50-150 gold) you can see why up to 30 (but preferably much less) fruits are really worthwhile.

Do you need to progress in the game to get the additional map spawns? I have done it about 50 times now and havent seen a single one of the 3 extra. I olayed the early versions a heap but havent played since this first came into early access so hopefully thats not the case and im just unlucky..
@BarklandaOnline are you reloading or creating a new character? To change the map seed, you have to create a brand character from the main menu. I would delete the save file and create a new character until I got a good seed

@ultimaheart4304 you talking about labrons manor? It's just random. Apparently, the first map I opened at the start had it too. I just completely overlooked it, thinking it was the procelyte dungeon. So I wouldn't say it's overly rare to see these locations to spawn.

I've notice that if you do alot of hunting in your file that it has a higher chance to spawn the "Rut" event. This event increases spawn for all wild life and makes all wild life dens reset.
@matthewhumphrey496 oh really. I need to hunt more then. I tend to gravitate towards dungeon clearing over hunting so it's hard for me to shift gears and focus hunting instead. They don't give much xp either.
@@okmallgaming Hunting is a bit more viable after you get Alda to 25% and you get Huntsmaster, which gives +50% more animal exp, guaranteed trophies, better chance at pelts, and EVERY pelt can be turned into +100EXP (bedrolls) because of the double crafting exp. So a single wolf can give you like 150exp.
@@okmallgaming i did a hunting character too, and after hunting alot to get money, up to lvl ~16-18 i noticed that young troll started to spawn alot (like 1 every 2 maps, sometimes even 2 on the same map) idk if it's related. I was not strong/experimented enough but i wonder if it does the same to you and how you could profit from them.

I dunno how I feel about warcry in this build, especially once your range extends FAR beyond what warcry can do. It just seems like a dps loss, although I guess the confusion helps enemies pathing to you.

For some reason I must have mental block when playing rangers. I've found it much harder than even the squishy casters. I had the same problem trying to recreate Aragorn in new year 1999 BG1.
@kyroplastics it's about taking your time and preventing yourself from aggroing the entire dungeon. Mid to late game our damage is high enough that we don't have to rely on 1v1 fights as much.
@atngoc7730 head to brynn. Down in the dock quarters, there are merchants that rotate every day. Ormi is one such merchant. He sells the runic Boulder. Btw I think I get the Boulder on episode 2 or 3.

Any particular reason to be using Bows over Crossbows? I know they don't need to be reloaded, which is huge. But the crossbows are just so much better in every other way. Much more damage, better Accuracy, usually 2-3 more Range, much more armor pen, no massive Accuracy penalties at 2 or 1 tile Range like the Bow has, and less ammo breakage (because you fire less often for more damage). And for hunting, the Crossbow's initial hit is so much stronger, plus Bow crits knock targets back (helps them get away) while Crossbow crits Immobilize them. The bow is viable, of course, but I find it hard to justify using it over the crossbow.
@BigSlimyBlob i wanted too. Plus I only just recently seen the wiki. They have done bows dirty. They seem so underwhelming that's it's sad. With that being said i still want to continue with what I started. If we make it to the late game and get t5 bows and find them to be absolutely trash, we can change to xbow.

@aymanelkadouri8235 i tried hunting saiga. Did they boost their health pool? Because I hit one for 21 and it was 60%. No bleed and it ran off. I see what the complaints are about now. Unless your ranged damage is enough you are better off attacking wolves and boars.
i've had a lot of luck with hunting provided they're unaware and you buff up with suppression/taking aim and use longshot, it's usually a one tap on most non aggressive game
Gotta hunt wild life in mountain tiles. So you can chase them in to area they no longer can run away. I've made over 5k gold hunting. The brewery and the woodman inn will buy pelts for good money and both areas are good rest place to start your hunt from.
@@okmallgaming fair. taking aim does a lot of heavy lifting by itself, though, same with packing broadheads. i think wild game in general feels a lot harder to kill in general now, bisons are an absolute unit and take forever to pick off
Putting 54 stolen coins loose in your backpack still looks like you stole them because its exactly the same number. Its too suspicious. Mixing the 54 loose coins in with your own 108 to make it a total of 162 coins makes it impossible for a guard searching you to make the same judgement. I am pretty sure coins being placed into a coin-purse losing their stolen status was intentional.
@@okmallgaming That small an amount saved this early on isn't worth it, especially when the storage space is so limited and it could mean being able to bring something more from a dungeon! :P Time is also money, so having to run back to pick up a second load is less efficient than earning more money doing something else! :P

@lockekappa500 sounds good. I've not tried much hunting and mainly went for rabbits and birds. Simple to kill and get meat.

@qinxart1579 most chest are from the carpenters in town. Both mannshire and osbrook sell chests and wheels for the caravan.
