This is awesome. I LOVE how there's still GX content being made. I've been playing and watching a lot of GX lately, including checking out the Expanded Max Speed spreadsheets. It's been very clear that the top 2 are Fat Shark and Black Bull, but I've been wondering what top players thought beyond those two. So this is just so cool! Thanks for the videos!
I hear you, but honestly, I don’t think GX can be improved upon, at least, I feel it has the energy of a lot of games from this era that it truly appeals to the dedicated gamers who play it, but appeals enough to casuals who enjoy it. And I think you could theoretically write out a bunch of stuff that could be improved, but I’m so sick of remakes and reboots and revamps on new consoles that I kind of just want people to keep old games that are perfect alive. I really don’t need millions of people into gx to enjoy it, and if they did something would go weird cause money really corrupts stuff most of the time. All my opinion though
Compared to the original tier list you made over a decade ago, seeing the changes made in the calcs for machine stats at these values is quite the shift, but it's nonetheless interesting seeing how they stack up after using these for so long, especially for ones people used to write off as good (Rainbow P., Golden F., etc.) versus the ones that are generally considered poor. This was a great analysis vid, guys. Spreadsheets and Stat Docs also help a good bit, too!
There has been a lot of strong players pushing these machines to a high level which greatly helped with our understanding of what makes a machine be good or not. The data collection done by myself and others also gives us the ability to predict and perhaps even calculate a machine's performance as a whole and on a single track. Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm just getting into this and I've hit the point to where I'm having to dig into advanced tech (MTS, etc.) in order to make gains. I can't exactly utilize this information, but I definitely enjoy hearing it. I love theorycrafting and minmaxing in pretty much every game that I touch, so this is a thoroughly enjoyable look into it.
I was able to complete it to 98% and winning master cups( coudent unlock Phoenix and digiboy tho) and i usually played viechals that didnt drift at random. Like basic stuff, at least to me, like blue Falcon, Wasp, tyhpoon, octoman, dr Stewart, James mccloud, fire stingray, mr ead, Magic seagull etc. But i coudnt play black bull, fat shark, silver Nielsen, Mad wolf, crazy bear, wild goose, Antonio guster, wild boar, death anchor if i remember right. They were so "slippery" to control. Its really hard to play them! Or unplayable. But also i remember this slipperyness could happen somewhat regularly with sonic phantom, baba, bio rex, mighty Gazelle etc.
1:47:07 You said you would stick with fat shark and something else to learn the fundamentals but kinda mumbled the second one. What was the second one you said?
@vSAMGX Ironically I kind of liked no bgm since it allowed you to slowly but surely get your point across. BGM might be more applicable once you get accustomed to speaking without any obvious pauses/you are reading from a script. But that is completely up to you. Thank you very much for the tier list and content, esp since it was very informative and you have clearly done the prep work for it.

20 year old game still getting 1.2K views from its fans. If only a certain company was as dedicated to it. Great video.
If only 1.2k people was enough for a company to profit🤷🏽
@@jamesissadyothere is a lot of people that only buy new games, and don’t care at all about old games.
@@Hakunamatata327Well, that's ok. I only play the old games because the new ones suck mostly.
