Wow!!!! I never watched a haul that took two days to complete. I am truly amazed. You are blessed with a beautiful family. You have gotta be the most organized person to keep everything running smoothly. May God continue to bless you and yours.
I can’t believe how much cheaper things are over there . For example the .25c cake mix here in Australia are around the $4.00 mark .. it would blow your mind to see how more expensive it is here
well they got the cake mix at a second hand kind of store where it is going to expire soon that’s why it’s so cheap. but at regular stores it all depends what kind you get. probably 1-4 dollars tho
I told my husband today that I love watching the monthly home grocery hauls, but there's just no way I can see us doing one. I'll do shop with me and whats on our plan or in our pantry, but that's about it. Thanks for sharing!
We used to do alot of shopping at Sam's club, but have tried to cut back on the driving, as the closest Sam's is pretty far away. I'm jealous of your discount grocery stores, we don't have anything like that!
Loved watching the shop, my home at the fullest had 7 kiddos (3 biological, 4 lived with me for their high school years for a stable home) I'm down to just one still at home and I miss the happy chaos! ♥ 😊 great discount stores and great helpers!
Wow.. the 4th store sure had amazing prices. My goodness that was a big shopping day. I'm glad you don't skimp on your food purchases.. Your kiddo's are just like other kids and love snacks and treats. Thanks for keeping it read. Enjoyed this video.... tfs.. ♥
You need to have more subscribers! Frankly, you have great and very interesting and very informative content. And this coming from a 30 year old single working woman.
Hi Amy. Thank you so much for your lovely videos. Last week I had to have my beloved dog put to sleep & since then you & your wonderful family are the ones getting me through this terrible time,I also have depression & it's escalated , the only thing that helps me to not break down in tears etc is watching you & your family. Thank you so much for all your videos they are so helpful & informative. Please continue to show them. May god bless you all. X X 💛💜🧡❤️💚💙
I love watching your food prep videos 😁😁👌 and uve stolen your garbage bag snack bags idea too.. it's a massive help and my kids love the different variety xx
You should do a video of everything at the end and break it down if possible also if not if you did a tour of your fridge pantry etc after you did your monthly haul😍please if you can
Hi, Amy. I was trying to analyze what makes watching you and your family chat and shop so pleasant. Perhaps it's a bit like hanging out with another mom who understands. Whatever the reason, I appreciate you for sharing your haul and also your delicious recipes. (:
I know I’m only one person and don’t have 10 children to buy for but just sharing-when I went plant based, I saved SO much money. Meat, dairy and processed food was costing me so much money. I couldn’t believe it. Made me healthier as well. Turned my fast meals & snacks into more nutritious options. My family has been trying it out and they also say they feel like they have more energy. Love your vids!
amy maryon we do a split house. For 4 people its reasonable, but even with our small family sometimes the 2 meals or added meat is a struggle to achieve. I dont eat meat and apparently i dont cook it well either since I went plant based long long before my adult caring for myself years and I need my husband to cook or pre cook a lot for me. I think even one more kid might tip the scales into unreasonable territory.
shaeshiah nash i have really found comparisons oz. For oz. On most things the bulk stores are either the same price or more expensive. Red meat is usually less expensive, but you have to be careful in wearhouse stores to not be enchanted by the large sizes and forget price per oz.
I could totally copy your video as our own grocery trip. We have 7 kids still at home but a total together of 11. We do menu plan and grocery shop every 2 weeks since storage is at a premium at our house. I have to go to 3 different stores (Aldi, Kroger and Meijer) to get everything, most times. Lately, I have been using the Kroger "Clicklist" for the bulk of my shopping just to cut down on my time running around AND missed items. I LOVE that I can shop from home on the laptop instead of dragging the kids around. I always seem to spend more when I have the kids with me! I was so glad to see that you do as much chips and "snacky" type of foods as we do in our same limited budget. Sometimes I think we eat too many snacks but really we NEVER eat out so the snacks are the treat where most people go out to eat. We also do a lot of bulk cooking but not as much as you. I love your freezer meals and I am so happy to have found your channel.
That is true. We don't eat out dinner. Those chips go for the entire four weekends at the lake. They go quickly as you know. Blessings and glad to meet you
SarDee Bee That's great but the kids need to learn shopping skills too , so every once in a while I take mine. We are a family of eight with six children. I haven't learned your shopping skills and meal preparation yet but that's why I'm here. If you do decide to do videos please let me know so that I can subscribe.
@@kiiyannahudson I agree about teaching them shopping skills! My husband and I just decided last month to add into our home school a month long period where each child (we have three in school, 6 years old, 9 and 12.. obviously the 6 year old won't be able to do most of it but he'll enjoy the one-on-one time of going thru the motions) will help me menu plan, make a shopping list, set up the budget (we already have it set but they need to understand how the process works so I'm going to take them thru the motions) and then go to the stores to actually shop.. they are all looking forward to starting their month, LOL, I don't think they realize how much work it is!! I hope I can make it fun enough that it doesn't backfire on me and make them hate shopping.. then again.. LOL!
Try boxed.com as well. I'm single with no kids but having my food delivered the next day without standing in lines n hauling in food is a life/time saver. Hope this helps
Texting comments can so be taken the wrong way:). No emotions attached or facial expressions :). We are all human beings. It was just a comment, and I just explained how we ration out the food :). We don't always get so many snacks , we do a lot of baking too but this time there were a lot of cheap snacks so.....i chose convenience over time making snacks. Keep watching and u will see how our food shopping cart changes :).
Wow, lots of awesome helpers, Do the kids ever get cranky? Wow you got some good deals. Those snack boxes are awesome, 25 in a box, wow, thats 2 lunches in a box, for a normal size family , My grand kids would love some thing like that once in a while for lunch. You got some great deals, great job taping it all, altho I felt out of breath for you.
Cranky?!?!? Umm yes. I try and make it good for them too. We did McDonald's for happy moods:). I understand it is not their favorite as well. But I also use it as a teaching time as how to act in public :) sometimes we have treats but not always. This was just one particular long day:). Yes taping we tried. I'll get better :) lots of movements lol. My kiddies love the snack boxes. Absolute favorite I was glad they had more.
Have you thought about buying the hygienic paper at Sam's? Growing up we were 6 in the house and the box lasted a good 2 months maybe? Or more. I still buy it at Sam's along with the trash bags (buy only 1x a yr lol and we throw 2-4 bags away a day) paper towels, clothes detergent, softner and dryer sheets all for about $100
Wow thats great! I'm a new subscriber as of today. What state do you live in cuz we are in IL & we don't have any discount stores like that here as far as I know. We have sams, walmart & aldi but thoe other 2 stores are fantastic! I look forward to more videos.
If you’re going to more than one store in a day, do you wait to get all of your meat and milk, and things that need to be kept cold till the last store(?) or do you go home in between stores to put away the things that need to remain cold? Or do you keep some kind of insulated bins (with ice?) in your vehicle to put them in when you go to the second and third stores?
amy maryon I’ll bet you love it then, huh?! 👍❤️😘 My childhood BFF has 7 kids; 6 girls & 1 boy. (The boy was the 5th child born, no twins in the family.) They say that when his next sister was born, he was probably 3 or 4 years old(?), and when he found out it was yet another sister born, he laid down on the floor on his stomach and banged his fists up & down on the floor and kicked his feet in a tantrum. But you know what? I don’t feel sorry for him being the only boy in the family. He’s the ONLY kid in the ENTIRE family that gets his own private bedroom, and the only kid that doesn’t have to ever wear hand-me-downs! And when he was a teenager in high school, (or middle school?), he Had his own private “harem” came over to his house (his sisters’ friends would come over after school.) I think that’s why he grew his hair long and learned how to play the Guitar(?), to try to impress his sisters’ girl friends! 😳🙄?? 🕺 🎸 👍❤️😏 😁😆
How do you decide the order of your stores, and say, buy a few onions at Aldi (later stop) but not a big bag of onions at Sam's? I'm in California where everything is so expensive (Aldi envy) and discount grocers are an urban legend, but I, too have learned to shop in multiple places for the best deals since watching your vlogs. Great blog too! I was born in Michigan though I've been out West for quite a while, and have connected with so many of your recipes and enjoy your friendly and get-down-to-it attitude. Thank you for all of your incredible hard work and dedication to these videos. They are packed with good info and very motivating and inspiring.
So glad to meet a fellow Michigander:). I do order of stores based on how I'm gonna have room:). Onions...we don't always use a ton so a small bag will work.
I wish we had discount grocery stores like that but we don't it that I know of here at least not near me you got some great deals I can't wait to see the meal prep videos.
You shop like me. I Only go once a month and load up. I hit costco, winco and walmart. I live in a smaller town so when I shop I make it worth my while to drive an hour.
wow the prices are unbelievable .50c for a pack of granola bar. whaaat? those are 4bucks at shoprite. maybe 2:50 on sale. Your kids are awesome! so helpful. most kids these days have something more important to do like texting on their phones n such🤔.
wow thats a great shopping day you had. I dont have discounts store where I am at but i wish we did. You make me tired with all that shopping lol At the discount stores do they have good expiration dates or they close to expiring was just curious??? thanks for a great video.
I wish we had those outlets and discount stores!!! Aldi's is as good as it gets in my area and I am a bargain shopper! I would be in there having a ball!!! 1200 for a family of 12 is a win for sure! How do you plan your budget and what to get from where based on prices or whatever????
I have just been doing it forever. :). I sit and plan meals and do what I do in my videos for planning. If it looks like too much extra stuff I cut back. Usually we are below budget, so no worries
Do you ever find any problems with the cold items from the discount store? I’d be worried that they were there because they had gotten too warm at another store....
Wow, that was a lot of stores and a lot of shopping...the only thing I would have thought to change would have been to attack the cheap stores first and at least get what you can get there, then onto the regular stores, like Sam's and Walmart...have you ever done it that way before, Amy? I'm sure you know what you are doing though, you have been doing this for so long, you probably have it all down pat, exactly where to find the best buys on all of your stuff...you are an amazing Mom and your children are so cute helping you out too. I don't know how you manage it all, but your freezer will be filled up again. Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Thanks Janet! Yes I have done it that way. For me it depends on cooler space because it is so warm. I plan accordingly to cooler space and amount of time it sits in van:)
Janet. Thank goodness that there is an online world today. A place where you can get connected to other people, often times ones in the same situation as you are. :) I've been alone for most until now.. Just due to circumstances... thankful for that time, I learned a lot for where I am now:). I am happy you are here. It means much to me:)
I am glad you are able to watch :). Can I pray for you to be able to become stronger to walk more? I'm gonna believe that you will feel much better over the next couple of weeks. ❤
Wow, Janet. That was powerful! You truly are a woman who has walked a long journey and are still here ! You are very humble to not need anything that is good. But God is still going to touch your back so that you are feeling beyond "comfortable". 😂 because he is good. Don't settle. You have much to do, perhaps a young neighbor momma who needs encouragement or another friend who is alone. God has something else for you even at your " older" age. I'm praying for God to bring people "physically" to you for you to encourage. This Momma is believing!!! 💜
Please I need the exact addresses of those stores that you go! Because other stores don’t have those much varieties. We’re a large family who suffer from shopping expensive and we barely are able to afford what our kids need, thanks
Apparently, your Aldi is the one they use for photo ops. I did wonder, however, where you live that you can go swimming in April and not have to worry about alligators. I own a pond and I'm afraid to go in it.
I tried to show them dancing through the store but the speed was quick :). Maybe good I muted the audio lol. No seriously for a long day it was good :). Could have been worse?!?!?
Wow! Here I was grumpy because we just returned from overspending for our grocery haul that will last us roughly 2weeks. (made a $50 list, ended up spending $67) Than this popped up in my recommended :)
Amy, I tried to contact you personally via blog, Facebook, and so on but, found nothing anywhere. My family is looking to relocate since my hubby just got his bachelors and your area, with amazing discount stores looks to benefit us a lot. We are not a large family, but, I like to cook like one. What state or area are you in?
I noticed you had your purse on your shoulder while shopping..is that because you're worried about theft from the cart? I have tendonitis in my shoulder and can't carry a purse for long. I put mine in the baby seat part and strap it in and figure if some one tried to take it they'd grab it and wouldn't get far. I still keep the cart close though.
I wondered how much you spent. Wow, that’s a lot of money, but we’re just 2 in this family and I spend $650/mo. Can I ask what your husband does for a living? I really enjoy your videos. Thank you!
Another great video ... but I have to say ... I am totally shocked that you would eat a salad when driving ... ? Can't do that here in Canada ... we have very strict distracted driving laws ...
Lol. I know. It is quick :). They were individual lunch packs.. Pack of tuna, Pringle, granola bar, rice Kristy treat, applesauce, and peanut butter crackers.
Hii there i I have a question for you if you dont mine me asking. How come you buy bread when you can make ur own bread. I think you make good bread. I also think your a great mom ! 😀 big fan !
I don't mind you asking at all!! Homemade bread is great! Not for sandwiches and I was able to get all this bread at the discount store for nothing. When life hands you bread....you make French toast lol.
Wow!!!! I never watched a haul that took two days to complete. I am truly amazed. You are blessed with a beautiful family. You have gotta be the most organized person to keep everything running smoothly. May God continue to bless you and yours.
I appreciate that. I thank you. We do what we have to do, to get it done.
I can’t believe how much cheaper things are over there . For example the .25c cake mix here in Australia are around the $4.00 mark .. it would blow your mind to see how more expensive it is here
Oh wow. They are like 1.25 at the normal store .
The chicken breast was only $3.50, here (Aus) it cost me $8 for 4 chicken breasts yesterday 😭
Michelle Jenkinson that is what I was seeing
well they got the cake mix at a second hand kind of store where it is going to expire soon that’s why it’s so cheap. but at regular stores it all depends what kind you get. probably 1-4 dollars tho

It is a lot. U do what you can do for your family :)
those buggies fill up fast lol nice haul, beauty family, yall have a great and blessed week
They do! Thanks so much for watching!
We used to do alot of shopping at Sam's club, but have tried to cut back on the driving, as the closest Sam's is pretty far away. I'm jealous of your discount grocery stores, we don't have anything like that!
Mind blown! Incredible organization. I wish I had a discount grocery store near me. You got some awesome deals!!
Thanks for watching!
Good job getting the deals, Amy. I'm all about the bargains! I'll be looking forward to the food preparation. I enjoy seeing you cook.
Thank you for watching and glad you enjoy them
Oh my gosh, those prices were amazing... we need that store in Florida
Loved watching the shop, my home at the fullest had 7 kiddos (3 biological, 4 lived with me for their high school years for a stable home) I'm down to just one still at home and I miss the happy chaos! ♥ 😊 great discount stores and great helpers!
:). Made me smile

Hi. I tried your baked French toast and it was devoured. My family loved it. Plus it smelled so good. Thank you. Your an inspiration that I need
It is delicious!!! Glad u enjoyed
Hi Amy. Thank you so much for your lovely videos. Oh I am so sorry...that would be so hard- I understand :( lost our dog last year after 17 years
I love watching your food prep videos 😁😁👌 and uve stolen your garbage bag snack bags idea too.. it's a massive help and my kids love the different variety xx
I'm so glad. Thanks for watching
You should do a video of everything at the end and break it down if possible also if not if you did a tour of your fridge pantry etc after you did your monthly haul😍please if you can
Ok:)
I would look into using a lot of coupon and bull seasonal shopping. Such as stocking up on sugar in the holiday season when it’s cheaper, etc.
Yes great idea
I wish we had your discount stores. I’m craving the pretzel crisps.
Hi, Amy. I was trying to analyze what makes watching you and your family chat and shop so pleasant. Perhaps it's a bit like hanging out with another mom who understands. Whatever the reason, I appreciate you for sharing your haul and also your delicious recipes. (:
I am glad you enjoy watching! Thanks for being here.
I know I’m only one person and don’t have 10 children to buy for but just sharing-when I went plant based, I saved SO much money. Meat, dairy and processed food was costing me so much money. I totally agree. I would love to move plant based but it has to be a collective household thing:).
amy maryon we do a split house.
Love the Grocery Outlet! Have them here in Tennessee and North Carolina.
I'm amazed at the prices..nothing here like that in Michigan
Angela M I wish though!!!
Nothing like NY either... I wish..
Sams club Costco's
shaeshiah nash i have really found comparisons oz. For oz. On most things the bulk stores are either the same price or more expensive.
Red meat is usually less expensive, but you have to be careful in wearhouse stores to not be enchanted by the large sizes and forget price per oz.
At toronto either 😔
So many goodies at the discount places, I wish we had somewhere like that!

amy maryon lol I love watching you shop. My favorite is watching you bake and make your food for the month :)
Thank you. Next week I will have a bunch
amy maryon YAY!!!!! I'm looking forward to it! I am actually going to be trying to make bread for the first time tomorrow from your recipe :)
Oh it is delicious!! You will do great!
Wow! great one Amy and I love people shopping I am just a teenager so I am very fascinated :)
Lol. Thank you for watching
Lol, that's ok :)
I am so happy with the meats from the GO GO!! We got stuff there we are just not able to get other places.
I find that meat is the best! Even better than sams etc
Those where good dealing as a mother of four and trying to stay on a grocery budget love the video TFS 💞 mom's rock
Thanks for watching!
What is the name of the discount store you go to? I sure wish we had one, here!
Go grocery.. Grocery outlet
amy maryon I go to those stores before Walmart. Sometimes they are even cheaper
We have a chain called grocery outlet but they dont have the stuff that was at the store you went to
:( bargain barn is another name for one I know of
The only Grocery Outlet I could find on Google is a chain on the west coast and in PA. Maybe it's just a local store.
So jealous of your discount stores! Wish mine were that cheap! 👍😊
I am sorry everyone took what I said the wrong way ! she is doing a great job feeding her family. I am not sure I could do as well as she does .

We use four coolers. I only do a couple of stores each time so I can keep the stuff cold. If it was freezing we would go all in one day!!

Thank you
what's the name of the two grocery stores you went to after Wal-Mart?! I need to find one!
Go grocery, they are local discount stores
Renea, I was asking the same thing! We have an Aldi here but no name brand discounts!
I need that store
Wow. We need a Anchor in philly. Great vid!

wow thats a great shopping day you had. I dont have discounts store where I am at but i wish we did. You make me tired with all that shopping lol At the discount stores do they have good expiration dates or they close to expiring was just curious??? thanks for a great video.
Yes some are close to the dates not all but some. Some are just stuff they couldn't sell else where
SuperDiana50 You dont aldis or save a lot or fare way??
amy maryon You go through alot of aspirin dont ya??
we have an aldis here.
Curious what the name of the first discount store you went to after Walmart is? Enjoying watching your videos!
Go grocery or grocery outlet
Omg, I forgot to say this: look at your bag of peppers, I saw bugs flying.
I wish we had those discount stores here!
Yikes. They were good :).
Michelle Estes What stores you have around you??
I wish we had those outlets and discount stores!!! Aldi's is as good as it gets in my area and I am a bargain shopper! I would be in there having a ball!!! 1200 for a family of 12 is a win for sure! How do you plan your budget and what to get from where based on prices or whatever????
I have just been doing it forever. :). I sit and plan meals and do what I do in my videos for planning. If it looks like too much extra stuff I cut back. Usually we are below budget, so no worries
Merry Christmas
All the Aldis on here always look bigger and better than mine !!
Do you ever find any problems with the cold items from the discount store? I’d be worried that they were there because they had gotten too warm at another store....
Never had any issues. :)
💜
Was there a chain on the grocery carts at the Aldi?
Yes we do that too!
Wow, I've never seen groceries so cheap. You'd pay 3 - 4 times more for a lot of those items here in Seattle. Amazing!
Amy what was the second store? Amazing prices
Omg I wish we had a discount store like that
We are 5 and we spend 400 a week. Wish it was not so but so far i have not been able to cut it. I will keep watching and hoping
😊💜
Wow! So two days of shopping and you’re done? Impressive.
Finished ! I just picked up 2 gallon of milk to get through rest of month :)
Do you just buy month to month foods or do you stock for disasters?
Hot Cheetos...YES. Thank you for having a cart that resembles reality! Cheetos CAN peacefully co-exist with fruits and vegetables.
Lol. My husband would agree..those are his favorite lol
love your haul
Thank you
I wish we had a Aldi in Az
Please I need the exact addresses of those stores that you go! Because other stores don’t have those much varieties. We’re a large family who suffer from shopping expensive and we barely are able to afford what our kids need, thanks
Bargain foods pelzer deals galore in Williamstown sc
amy maryon thank you very much for your patience
Do u know how I can find a grocery outlet like that in the charlotte nc area
No I don't :( maybe Google outlet stores. Another name for one in sc is called the bargain barn that one is huge.
Apparently, your Aldi is the one they use for photo ops. I did wonder, however, where you live that you can go swimming in April and not have to worry about alligators. I own a pond and I'm afraid to go in it.
Lol. No alligators up this far :).
I am exhausted just looking at you and the kids!!!! You have so many children and so much energy. How old are the kids?👏👍😘❤️🌷
5,7,8,9,11

What’s the 4th store? I love the prices!
How do you discipline all of your kids? They all seem to be respectful and well behaved
Lots of love :)
Omg the 25cents cake mix is 7 dollars ...
Where do you love in States ?
Wnc
Omg wish my “discount” grocery stores had those prices here in California.
Sorry if this was answered, I have been watching you for a few weeks now...do you grocery shop then meal plan or meal plan then shop?
Meal plan and then shop. Usually I like to hit the discount stores first and then plan. But this month I planned first :)
amy maryon ok, that is why I was confused, you switched it up on me. Thanks!
I didn't do a full blown monthly shopping trip last month so it messed my normal up lol :)
I can't believe the prices in your neck of the woods!!
Your sams club looks exactly like costco. I wonder if theyre the same now...
I don't know. I have never been to costco
Um, no not the same. Sams is just another Sam Walton store. And I will NOT support Walmart.
Wow! Here I was grumpy because we just returned from overspending for our grocery haul that will last us roughly 2weeks. (made a $50 list, ended up spending $67) Than this popped up in my recommended :)
Something to be thankful for:)
Hi, what area is your discount grocery stores in?
Western North Carolina
Hmm I guess I always just carry my purse. Feels safer :). I have hooked it onto my shopping cart but don't feel safe that way:)
I love this 💖 New subscriber!!! we are a family of 9
Yay, nice to meet you
I wondered how much you spent. Wow, that’s a lot of money, but we’re just 2 in this family and I spend $650/mo. Can I ask what your husband does for a living? I really enjoy your videos. Thank you!
He is an engineer for a mold shop
Another great video ... but I have to say ... I am totally shocked that you would eat a salad when driving ... ? Can't do that here in Canada ... we have very strict distracted driving laws ...
They aren't that strict. I've driven by cops plenty of times while eating.
59¢ cake mix??? Omg in Spain it's between 4-7€
Yikes
Wow you went so fast couldn't tell what you were buying. What was in those boxes for 25.00? Thank goodness I don't get motion sickness. Lol
Lol. I know. It is quick :). They were individual lunch packs.. Pack of tuna, Pringle, granola bar, rice Kristy treat, applesauce, and peanut butter crackers.
I am just curious, but how is the discount store so cheap?
Coffee creamer first...you are my husbands hero...
Lol
Is that stuff still in date!
It is:)
Id like to go the discount stores you go to
:)
What stores are these?? Great prices!
Go grocery, aldis, Walmart and sams
How much is your food budget? You bought everything not just food I noticed.
1000 for food:) 200 for household stuff
Hii there i
I have a question for you if you dont mine me asking.
❤️🌸💞💕🐬😘I just love this channel
Thanks for that!
How do you all eat all that food in a month my family would eat on it for 3months we only have 3 during the week and about 4 exter on the weekends.
We feed 12 people all day three meals a day
Awesome!
Thank you
