This. Is. Brilliant. I will absolutely be using this in the project I am working on right now. Thank you for sharing this. Oh my, this solves so many lighting problems I was wrestling with.
I have been watching for years and love all you do especially on a budget! I have made miniature candles before, not with working lights, BUT I used a pack of wax crayons and I carved them to my liking and then used a lighter to make drips. Plus I got different colors for all color palettes for different rooms. I don't know if that might be something you may look into or not. I had inspiration from your videos to do something like that a couple years ago. 😊
Got to say I just love these makes and the incredible imagination that goes into designing and executing these miniatures, such fun! ❤ I’m probably being a real numpty here, but have I missed the making of the pumpkin house? I thought I’d watched every video. 🥴
I’ll link the pumpkin house tomorrow.. I made the house in 2020, got 2 videos up then had to have unexpected eye surgery. Then the season past and I never got back to it until now
@@WhereTheGnomesLive ah bless you for the reply. I’ve seen that video of the pumpkin house, just hadn’t realised it was the same one as I didn’t recognise it in the surrounding tree. You don’t need to link it 😊 you’re so so clever with all your ideas. Like another of your audience said, I too have wanted to make my own tree house and like them I’m afraid to start but in my case it’s because I’m really not sure I’ll end up with anything remotely like yours 😂 my crafting has always been in other areas and I’m much more comfortable in those areas, attempting a treehouse or other house like yours just blows my mind! 🥴
@@ppod1349 I actually changed the tree a bit and plan to show what I did in an upcoming video lol so that's why you didn't recognize it. Now about making your own house or creatures; Many years ago when I first started making my own trees and tiny creations I thought many of them wouldn't turn out and many of them got thrown in the trash. Then one day I decided to keep going with something I was making that was looking quite hideous, lol and my goodness, it turned out to be the cutest Mole.. maybe you've seen him, if not I'll link him at the end of this reply. So from that I learned that many creations go through an "ugly" stage or a weird sort of phase but if we keep going the end results can be amazing! It's just a phase we all have to get through. It's why I do these videos and keep my mistakes in the videos so I can show where I fixed something or just went with the flow. Sometimes you'll start making a certain creature but it decides part way through it's going to be something totally different, lol That happens a lot to me and those little creatures are the best ever! You have so many wonderful ideas waiting to come to life, you just have to believe and keep going. And mistakes are our greatest teachers www.sharonojala.com/2019/05/paper-clay-mole-character-handmade.html
@@WhereTheGnomesLive I know what you mean about things sometimes going through an ugly phase - I find that when I’m drawing, it can really seem like it’s not going to work, that I’ll never get it right and then suddenly it seems to just click and work out - more often than not anyway! I shall have to stop putting it off and have a go making a character and then have a go at making them a home. I love the idea of your stacking tree, so you can remove sections to move it etc, even though I loved the tree you had built in the corner of your craft room - truly amazing! ❤️
Yes, I know. I was addressing the comments for those who felt it was wasting them.. for 2 bucks I don’t mind using even just one bulb lol it’s a cheap and easy way to get lighting!

I watched part 2 first. I didn't get a notification for this one, so I'm glad I got one for part 2!

So clever and freaking adorable!

Is that the same pumpkin you crafted awhile back? I dont remember the piece being wedged with tree trunks. Would love to see the front.

You can color the lights black with a sharpie. It cleans off with alcohol
I love your channel ❤️
yes, this is awesome!
where you buy the lights?
👍
Did you ever post the part three for this pumpkin build?
This is the part 3 that never happened in 2020… due to my eye surgery at the time then the season past I never continued with it until now
@@WhereTheGnomesLiveWell I’m excited all over again!
@@jenpink4298 aww thank you! Today I put all the videos into a playlist so now everything is in one spot, it’s linked in the pinned comment ❤️
Bentley House Minis uses crayons for candles.
That’s cool, Ara is a brilliant miniaturist! Did she light them up?
@@WhereTheGnomesLiveshe didn’t, but it’s a cool idea!
@lesliejohnson8738 it’s super cool! I’ll have to check them out. Thank you ❤️

You don't have to use all of the lights in a string of fairy lights. You can cover it with electrical tape 2 blackout whatever light you don't need

With these type you can also cut some off
