- I decided to dust off my 6'7 Playshot and bring him into the Rec with randoms for a few runs. I almost forgot how insane this build is on the offensive end. Unlike most PG builds where passing is sacrificed for more shooting and finishing, this build has elite finishing, shooting AND PLAYMAKING! If I want to be more of a traditional PG and "pass first" I can do so, but if I need to play more like a combo guard this build is capable of exploding on offense and carrying the scoring load.

Dime I'm ngl you are responsible for this batch of guards this year😂. Everybody thinks they they Dine and go into rec putting up 2/25 with 0 assists at the half then acting like 2k is to blame. Granted you make it look super easy but these guards this year aren't it especially in rec.
its a few of us who make it happen tho i got a few 50 pieces this year

@@Khi2k it's so rare tho. Usually the only ones who have any IQ are the sf, pf, and C. But even Cs now are becoming like the guards. I'll get some games but it's far and in between. I even got a game a day ago with iPodkingcarter
That’s random rec for you if I’m not bringing a guard the guard is ass 98% of the time but I don’t run into a lot of guards that like the mid tho usually 3s, lays, and spamming the same move repeatedly like every year.
@@tjproduceditii man for me it's mostly them run running every play. Like every last play or trying to shoot a contested 3. No middie or floater. Then get mad at everyone else. And 2k doesn't make it better bc idk if most people noticed but they are intentionally matching bad players against good players. Why else would they give out quests to win by 15 or 20? They put you with good teammates against bad players or more than likely they pair you with low IQ or brand new players just for those quests
one of the most underrated aspects of defending this year is knowing what builds are possible and what arent. u would probably agree dime since u been labbing up so many different builds, knowing the weaknesses of the opponents just by looking at their 5 best attributes helps me out so much. i honestly love the builder this year

This build is insane! I only make 6’7 pf’s 2 way three level playmaking types but this is what I want to make but play rec randoms and so I can’t afford not having defense. Great content Dime!

Even if you have no shooting that’s no excuse to clog the driving lanes stay in the dunkers spot and wait for an opportunity to strike. Set screens, off ball screens make some motion for the offense
After seeing this build, I decided to make it at 6’5 with that Jordan dribble style and it’s been going crazy

This build still greatly benefits from Finishing Takeover since your middy is definitely good enough to hit post fades 💪🏽

@kieranmitchell5088 - Finishing TO has all the post-scoring perks this year so you have a higher shot percentage on post fades, hops, and dropsteps.

The contests on post fades this year is very annoying. I’ll shoot one over a center and it’ll be wide open but next possession have a wing guarding me getting a 20-30% contest. Shits so inconsistent.
i got a 6'8 pg with 85 3 ball, 92 middy, and 88 layup still got 75 perimeter d and 79 block for anchor and chasedown. 84 strength too for that silver immovable and bulldozer. only thing id change is going for an 87 pass acc instead of 77, but the build is amazing and an instant mismatch

Do you just walk in after upgrading or did you go get your badges up and hotspots first and what badges did you floorset to gold and silver help me out just made the build

I just put 98 mid, 89 3pt, 91 layup on my 6’7 I made a week ago
98 pass acc is a bit overkill tbh 91 is enough that way u can put some more points towards defense
Got a 67 luka build had a jumpshot never missed after few patches couldn't shoot for shi nomo
made a very similar build but lowered accel and pass acc is 91 and strength is 96 🔥
