    That's a good idea. I will definitely make one for myself. I think I will number the holes on the sliding part so I can be sure to punch the right places for each job.

      I agree, it's on my plans after I missed that hole in the video. I have also drawn an arrow pointing to the stopper so I don't place the slider in the opposite direction, this will ensure the holes are aligned.

    I've just recently done a couple of workshops on bookbinding, and I think this is a brilliant design. If I decide to pursue bookbinding more, I will probably build one of these. Thank you so much!

    This is a genius idea! Thank you so much. I attemted some cradels made of cardboard but they never last. This is sturdy and easy to do. It looks good too! How thick are the mouldings? Inhave found some that are 10mm wide. Would this be enough?

      Hi. I'm glad you liked the design. I just measured the thickness of the mouldings, it's around 8mm. Good luck.
