Isn't it part of the burnouts regs that you have to have a marked external battery isolator to kill all power to the rig in case of an emergency?, yet all I can see the highvis heros doing while they are milling around a still active vehicle is looking for a way to fight the driver. If you gunna put yourself in harms way to stop the situation escalating at least do something smart. Parking the bobcat there was all they needed to do, he couldn't get out to the public past it, crisis averted. Everything else was just a cock measuring contest.
the guy clearly had good control of his car and was no danger to anyone, they should have opened the gates and let him out,not try and block him in and damage his car

Completely irrelevant. He ignored the track officials as he approached the start line. There's not many rules to follow on a Burnout Pad but the one rule that always applies is to abide by track staff instructions. What if there was track staff at the other end of the Burnout Pad cleaning something up, he had no way of knowing that, that's what the track staff are there for... Irresponsible and reckless.
@@Flinty460 what about the conduct of the staff?? The language used by the hick commentator?? Or just the law in general? Property damage and assault.. or better yet.. the inbread that told him he was right to skid…?? Explain flinty
Can we start from the beginning and explain why he was even told not to enter the arena? That part is still unclear to me was it to many mixed signals from officials? One said go another said stop?
So i u derstand what your saying is the entire event happened and ended and everyone was leaving and some dude decided he wanted to burn the last of his tires off and was told no then proceeded to drive anyways
Short answer was to kill the engine to stop the car running. Deeper answer is that marshals communication and control was poor and that led to a person who shouldn't have been out there willfully getting out there anyway and potentially putting people at risk. Then because the marshals were unorganised, they attacked him like a mob - in the situation that wouldn't have gotten out of control in the first place if they had done their job and preparation properly.
Them track "officials" should know better then to get in the way. Shame on them, let him do what he came to do, go talk about it later. The guy punching the window, well.. he is not to smart smacking on some on else's toy. All in all, F the officials.
I used to think you Aussies had great events.. this is just wrong on everyone’s part.. The dude for going out there.. But the security and commentator… Really FFS
0 skin in the game, but I see many of the top comments complaining about the engine being damaged. The guy putting it in gear and trying to get away from the tractor while surrounded by people is pretty effing dangerous and 100% worth of killing his motor as he is an immediate threat to everyone around. I get he was being ganged up on, fight or flight, yadda yadda... but him doing that tells me the staff were handling him how he needed to be handled. He was making stupid decisions, and trying to get away from a group of event staff in such a dangerous manner was worthy of the engine destruction and use of tractor. They didn't break his window or kill his motor until AFTER he tried to move and effort instantly went to stopping the threat to every spectator and events staff around them. It was super lame with the staff spraying in the car, that was dumb, but does not come close to rising to the justification to put lives at risk recklessly hammering on the throttle like he did.
Bit unfair for this bloke nearly ripping the door off the car then putting all the extinguisher foam in the air cleaners and motor not a good way to deal with it

That’s awesome
That didn’t valve bounce and it didn’t miss a beat until a fat prick put a fire ext in the intake
Those lads should be teaching the boys how it’s done.
Strong motor! Sounds like the best burnout of the night!
It was. Till they filled it with foam
Disgusting behaviour from officials👎👎
I hope they have great insurance considering the damage their staff did. I'd say a 100grand for the assault and damage to his car

The reality is that organisers will soon be unable to get insurance cover to hold these events and everyone will lose out.
The marshalls getting a bit violent is going overboard, the only bit I agree with is old mate using the extinguisher on the intake, if he wasn’t going to shut it off and he had plenty of warning then u need to use whatever necessary to stop the engine. There are consequences for your actions, everyone whinging about it needs to take a good look at themselves. But the violence doesn’t help the situation in any way
That bloke gonna pay 40k in damages to the engine...
I’d say the threat of violence is why he didn’t turn it off. That came way before the extinguisher.

Well said . They choose to won't to fight the driver. Security was probably drunk.. instead of thinking turn off battery isolated.. and no wonder he didn't won't to get out bunch of drunk security surrounding you punching your windows
I like don’t understand why the guy in the yellow tried to jump in front when the guy was coming out then proceeded to punch the window and probably threatening the dude and then the other guy that’s also security starts spraying fire extinguisher into the air filters on the engine like bruh what the fuck yall really went od for him doing a burn out

I would charge the officials with assault and claim compensation for damage to the car, what a bunch of wankers.

How did this man get a ban and not an award?
To be fair they did damage his car a lot he definitely needs a new engine after the fire extinguisher was unloaded straight to the engine bay the guy should press charges

So lynchy can chug multiple beers and go out on the pad? Such a dog act, hope they have to pay to fix all the damage done to his car.
2:47 - can someone explain to me why the marshal sprayed stuff into the air filter?
Because he enjoys doing criminal damage.
Just saw the ending, looks like the event is buying a new engine!!!

Look at the crowd, it is exactly what they wanted to see
I used to think you Aussies had great events.. this is just wrong on everyone’s part..
The dude for going out there..
But the security and commentator…
Really FFS
Bit unfair for this bloke nearly ripping the door off the car then putting all the extinguisher foam in the air cleaners and motor not a good way to deal with it
Pissed up drivers forget the pad crew have had the same amount of Jim Beam as you have but there's more of them then there is of you. Just shut her down fellas
