I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer, but that looks pretty easy. It would be fun to pick out the print :) I don't like coats, they seem like more hassle than they're worth since you mostly just need them for a quick walk to the car.

This is such an easy and fantastic way to keep kiddos warm. I have 2 kids as well and I have had so many issues getting them into the seat without them getting cold. I'm definitely going to be making these for this winter. Thank you.

what are the measuments you used for the fabric?
I used 2 yards for my baby's poncho. It's 2 layers thick so I just folded the 2 yards of fabric in half and sewed it around the edges. I'd suggest measuring the child first and deciding how you want it to fit them. My baby is now 1 1/2 and she still wears it. It goes to her knees now and before I could wrap her up in it. thanks for your question. Let me know if you need any more help.
