Your tutorials are excellent. I have a 1998 Kohler 35 kw natural gas industrial generator with a DEC (Decision Maker) 340 controller. It is set up for single phase 220v. Mice damaged the controller wiring. This controller is obsolete as well and used tested units are very expensive. This system has a speed controller that throttles the carburetor to maintain 1800 rpm. I have an ASCO series 300 automatic transfer switch. Which replacement controller would you recommend as a replacement that would provide the necessary system protection s and would work with the analog sensors of the present system. The ability to monitor it remotely would be a bonus.

very nice explained . is the cranking continuing with the fuel solenoid valve open as shown in the diagram (both NC contacts) or any other control ckt is involved to disconnect cranking with the gen picked up speed ? pl reply.
Hi friend,,, Only one thing I want to ask. The terminals nr 6 and 7 they give positive (+) signal at the same time whish is not acceptable for ATS logical operation. So how to configure for normal operation of ATS in order to not send for example the close signal at same time to source A and B .
I have some questions sir what purpose of con 2 in main supply is it for sensing voltage fluctuations or if 3phse volt or current not properly is it activate the generator automatically? And if starter relay or fuel pump relay is open circuit or high resistance can we use multimeter to measure voltage drop test same as DC circuit (24volts). If mechanical pump what purpose fuel relay?

And mechanical operated fuel pump how it is automatically stop the generator. I know automatically on is energising the starter relay and relay wil de energize after start it's continuely work by mechanical fuel pump than what about stopping how it's stop is it cut fuel system?

U need to correct ur wiring logic in ats panel make proper interlock and correct relay connections
