Eggleston as a matter of fact had a narrative depicting a specific period in time and place eventually in a pretty well curated way. Question there is of course why certain images were in one book and why they were not. I guess that’s what comes to careful consideration when putting books together. Even when all the single shots are good the book can not cover that load without editing. That raises maybe the main question how you edit a book.
so funny because in his more recent book of portraits he took a lot of photos with birds and he talks often about it in interviews i've seen. he's great
thankyou for showing this. I learned an awful lot from this - not just from ALec but also from you - the way you think about your work, the way you dealt with the information you were given. I will be thinking about this for a good while. Thanks again.
wow man Thank You! For myself getting to the point where I can have an artist I admire review my work sincerely like this is enough of a desire that I wonder about it often every potential scenario and really have no clue what it would be like, honestly can't afford to find out right now either so experiencing this myself with even a fraction of the Pillar in Art that Soth is, is out of my reach for who knows how long. I'm sure there are many other passionate photographers in my shoes as well and I hope they find this. I can't thank you in the way that would express the value I found in this. Truly appreciated.
Gracias por compartir el video Antonio, fue una sorpresa ver a una cara conocida en España mientras buscaba vídeos sobre Alec Soth. Sigues dándole caña a la cámara?
Yes. Because the style without a real structure, the fragmentation that was mentioned in the video, it wears out quickly. Finding all the bits and pieces is great if you're the first one who did it, is how I understood it. It's not meant like the guy was copying Eggleston or anything.
Antonio, al final del video citas un libro que te ha influido de una autora cuyo nombre no llego a entender, puedes por favor decirme que libro es. Y gracias por el vídeo, me ha sido tremendamente útil.
I love this opportunity I wouldn’t dare put toilet paper work in front of him you can see by his face , Alec is not inspired shame so much white pages , fail!!!!!
Thank you for having the courage to show this.

Thanks for posting this, I got sweaty palms imagining it was me.

Gracias por compartir, che.
This would be frightening.
Muy valiente Antonio ;) Leyendo entre lineas me parece que te da buen feedback, al menos interesante y de gran ayuda para próximos proyectos.
Brilliant upload!
his biggest reaction was the ipod photo. what was that photo?

Thanks for sharing. Too bad the recording is so blown out that you hardly can see the pictures in the book.
.... And by the way, he didn't kick your ass at all now did he....
The photos are intentially overexposed flash photos
What did he say at the end ? : "But The world only needs so many Eggeleston" ? ? 19:00
