  • Boston is the birthplace of the American Revolution, and the biggest place in the country to celebrate its independence. We start with a history filled duck tour, follow the freedom trail to Bunker Hill, USS Constitution, Old North Church, Paul Revere's house, Green Dragon Tavern, the Granary Cemetery and more. We witness the reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Old State House where it was read for the first time publicly in Boston back in July of 1776, catch a parade, and make our way to Boston Pops concert and firework show! It was an incredibly historic day!

Welcome to madventure, we're MADison and iVEN (okay it is spelled Ivan, but pronounced like VENture) a husband and wife living the adventure we have been dreaming of, despite the fact that it makes us sound completely mad. For us that looks like traveling full time and starting our own businesses.
For Madison, a former reality TV producer, the dream is the madventure community, connecting people through travel, experiencing new cultures, and trying the best foods from carts, stands and restaurants all over the world. She hopes to encourage others to follow their maddest most adventurous dreams, whatever they may be!
For Ivan, a former NASA engineer, it is creating an engineering product that will change the world!
Travel and food are two of our biggest passions, so on this channel we will be traveling the world, and staying awhile to experience what life is actually like living other places. We're excited to have you on board for the delicious, culture filled, madventurous times that will ensue! Let's madventure! xoxo

Duck Tours are amazing! My family and I did one in Seattle, once. I’m such a history buff that Boston’s always been on the bucket list. That Boston Pops footage looked insane!

Hi! Thank you so much! That will be so fun! Yes, our experience was that showing up around 30 minutes before the gate opened still got us great spots! Then we were able to stake our claim with picnic blankets and come back closer to show time thanks to the wristbands. If we had camp chairs with backs, a cooler and more snacks I think that would have made the experience even more lovely. Once the Boston Pop's show ended, there were trees blocking most of the fireworks show, so the people who knew what they were doing had all of their stuff packed up ready to leave the venue and see the fireworks from the streets nearby. We would definitely do that next time. Luckily it is a very long fireworks show so we still made it out to catch most of it! Hope you have an incredible time! 🇺🇸

@@letsmadventure Thank you so much for the very helpful reply. This will definitely help us make the best decision on that day. I know we all hope we contribute something positive to this world, and while I say Thank You, please know my gratitude measures more than those two little words. As someone who aims to be independent while being blind, I know that videos like yours and your heartfelt reply mean more than you know. I subscribed earlier ( embarrassed I didn't in my research earlier) and was honored to do so. Much love to you both, and looking forward to catching more of your adventures :) We are heading to Japan next April and saw you were there recently, so I will be checking those out soon

We stayed at an apartment in Cambridge with a company called Landing that was sponsoring us. It is sort of like AirBnB. Next time we go to Boston, I would try to find a place in the North End because it is close to everything and full of delicious food!
