Oh, I sure am anticipating this. And really I was just now perfectly in the mood to hear something like this anyway after a really hard day at work in dealing with this weather, and recently listening to all kinds of stuff in a totally different direction.❤
Wow that's a really cool catch at the end when you noticed it finally resolved with like a guitar strum or something. I had totally forgotten about that. Yeah that is pretty rare with fades to show an actual ending, although I'm pretty sure I remember that from a Led Zeppelin song once, and somewhere else as well. The whole phenomenon of fades became this huge bit of studio art and mastery. There were different styles and different ways to fade and different rates. And the talent was in could you match the style of the fade to the energy of the song and what they wanted to communicate, and possibly hint to the listener that if they went to a live concert, they would experience that and a whole lot more at the end.
That album came out when I was 17. It was one of those albums that shook my life and perspective of rock at the time, it changed everything. I have trouble even articulating to how Profoundly it affected me the first time I heard it. Every single song was Kick ass. Not many albums can say that.
An amazing band. The radio had this song on for years, and I still love it. It's one of their best, IMO.
👍🔥love Boson so many great hits
Cool the Engines by BOSTON strap in
Hope you are well my Good friend
The fade was made for radio play, I think. The DJ would start their spill during the fade! 😂😂😂
Such a fantastic album!! ❤
An oldie from jr hi!! I'm 60😊 6:15 We lived thru some of the best music ever produced.
Actually, like many other bands, they weren't ahead of their time, they were a product of their time.
