Not a single note out of place. I thought it would have been an amateurish effort to extend this song, but I can find no flaws with it at all. I think Mike Oldfield himself should take notice of this, and use this version as an extended credits theme for The Phantom Pain, once it's out. Congratulations! Well done indeed.

kojimas original vision probably was exactly that. but what we got was an unfinished mess with questionable choices. the fundament of the game is great, but what they chose to build with it, not so much. whatever happened between him and konami surely contributed

I'm pretty sure this game will rank top 5 games I ever played, and I really hope the story will make it that I can say the MGS series is undoubtful #1 ever. Damn, the music and the footage made me almost tear up, well done! I hope someone makes a badass AMV once the game is released, I bet there will be some more scenes worth to add.

The Boss surely inspired much of the characters but I didn't expect her to affect so much! Goes to show how important a single character is. Also shows how complex she is for two characters to think they knew what her legacy is and what she meant by her dying wish. The result being a war between two who originally were allies. However for Major Zero to actually create the philosophers legacy and then use to create the patriots. Nothing short of genius!
Or maybe not create the philosophers legacy but use it to create the patriots and stay hidden while everybody fights each other over one misinterpreted dying wish by a legendary soldier. Then for her protege to be fooled after soo many years and lose so much more than what he gained? Hideo Kojima just can never ever make a bad game! Love MGS
I just would like to know how did Eva aka Big Mama understand The Boss's dying wish and legacy but not Big Boss and Major Zero, her protege and former boss.
I wonder if that kid is Frank "Grayfox" Yaeger, it is said that Big Boss found Yaeger mentored him. Then worked Big Boss once Unit FOXHOUND was created and mentored Solid Snake. Snake did say in order to get to Big Boss he had to beat Grayfox who was supposedly killed by Snake. So I wonder if this teenage kid is Grayfox, if so then I think this game is based on outer heaven. Which means we should see another game based on Zanzibar Land. Which is when Snake was a rookie and Grayfox is already working for Big Boss. I also believe we may get to see a young Naomi and possibly Sigint and a young Psychomantis. The Nostalgia this game is creating is amazing! My all time favorite game just continues to get even better every time!!!

I just hope on the next Metal Gear they include Solidus like they did Liquid. This was a great Metal Gear Solid. But if they include young Solidus in the next one that would be incredible especially being able to tie in his story with the main story.
