- Hey everybody,
It's been a while! I missed you guys so much which is why I made a video right after getting back from Australia (I had a blast meeting you guys btw). I look super tired because I was super tired and jet lagged lol. Eating junk food constantly for that week left me breaking out here and there too. Traveling is fun but flying is poo. I am still recovering from the trip lol.
As requested; this video is all about high quality yet affordable drugstore makeup. Rather than a tutorial- I demonstrate how the products work/look. I also explain why I like the product and compare some to high end brands. These are simply great products that I adore and would recommend. Even the brushes that I use are drugstore.
I use a lot of drugstore brands because I am simply impressed with how much their quality has improved over recent years.
Although this video isn't really a tutorial- perhaps it can be a look you can wear for school since it is very simple/everyday.
Remember, everybody is different so it may not work the same for you.
I trust you guys to be able to find the drugstore products from your own local drugstore such as Boots, CVS, Superdrug, Target, SASA, Mannings, Watsons etc.
I took a mini break because I just wanted to get away from things for a bit. Sometimes- pausing life for a bit is exactly what you need for yourself to move on. Thank you everybody who has supported me during my hard times =). I cannot thank you enough. Slowly but surely; I am getting back up ^_^.

your right. I usually only wear a bit mascara, but when I see video's like this I think wow that many make-up to get a natural look. they use foundation but their skins are almost flawless

Great video. I am with you; the quality of drugstore makeup has really increased, especially these last few years. I read an article recently about how some CVS' are trying to market that aspect of their stores more, because they figure a woman might splurge a little on nice makeup if it's already at the store she runs to to buy every day stuff.

@76special Its like an eyeshadow base. It enhances and intensify your eyeshadow color, and allows it to last longer in its place without caking or creasing as the day goes by.
they're both awesome make up artists, i wish people can either support them or stop bashing them because they work hard to bring us these amazing videos...

You can only order it through an Avon representative, which is usually just someone in your area. They give you a catalogue each month and they always have new products. c:
My all-time favorite makeup tutorial from Bubz.
I love the maybelline eye studio liner, lasts foreverrrr. I use it in brown, I love it so so much.
you can shape/pluck your eyebrows to get them looking how you want to, remember you can also change them with eyebrow pencils too!
i lvoe this tutorial :) It really helps those people who dont want to spend that much! ELF is VERY affordable and i cant stress!
@tuahiwi0 doing brows isnt just for the darkness its also to fill in any sparse gaps/make the brow shape look smoother and cleaner!
you basically just showed us two things in one video- a makeup tutorial and products you can substitute for the ones you have. GREAT JOB, BUBBI!!!:)

And the brushes she used are:
ELF Powder Blush, EcoTools Eyeliner Brush, ELF Complexion Brush.

@superoxide09 the yellow helps cover up the dark areas or purplish areas underneath ur eyes better than just a light beige concealers. There's even green colored concealers that really covers up your dark circles. (:
Bubz, I don't know if you will get to reading this but it would be amazing if you could. I have been watching your videos for the longest time and I love how you have matured yet remained a child at heart. I'm so happy I just picked up the maybelline concealor for just £1 because someone peeled the stick off it but it's amazing!

- yes, its obvious that the maybelline concealer is yellow on her. that's why she puts foundation AFTER the concealer. to blend everything together and make it look more even.
You have to put on moisturizer first before applying make up! But you might need to wait a few minutes for your skin to absorb the moisturizer then apply concealer. This way the concealer wont slip and slide :)

@free4fallin i hav really bad dark circles too. u can just put a concealer under ur eyes ( i def recomend the one bubz used!) u don't hav to wear foundation too if u don't need it

@coreanspark If you know how to apply it, you can use a shade the same as your hair color (if it is dark brown or black). If you have lighter hair color (not dark brown or black), you can use one or two shades darker. Nothing too far from the hair color, but enough to define the eyebrows.

@sweetbutcraZ max factor and covergirl are sister companies so most of their products are similar. I think the covergirl intense shadowblast eyeshadow is the equivalent to the max factor masterpiece color precision

@free4fallin I do that sometimes. But the concealer should definitely blend well into the skin color.
Eyeshadow primers can make products last longer. Also, don't use pencil if you have oily lids. And before applying liquid or creme or gel eyeliner, dust some translucent powder (or use an oil blotting sheet) on your lids, to soak up the oil,

yes, i will admit that Maybelline is little more yellow toned then shisedo one(i totally spelled the brand name wrong), but i don't think it's that noticeable.

@ilikepurple345 It's Maybelline Pure Pact Mineral UV Compact Foundation. From what I've seen by looking around both online and in my local drugstores, it will need to be bought a shipped from an online store...
@XxXmalaybabeXxX I dont use concealer or foundation or powder... I just let my skin breathe. So i dont really use anything on my skin. I only use face cream thats all. And i only use eyemakeup. like Mascara.. eyeliner... for school. Mascara makes your lashes dry .. So thats why i use vaseline every night. So i nurse my skin and lashes alot so i dont think its a bad thing to use makeup as a 14 year old girl.

Bubz, thank you so very much for posting this informative video!! I love that you use the ELF brushes. I will definitely try out Prestige white eyeliner... I don't really like my Maybelline brand.
@MrRubbrDucky I know right? I only wear eye liner and lip gloss once in a while. I could not stand wearing a full face of make up, but make up is suppose to be for fun :)

You should try Kaleidoscope from Walmart. Their eyeshadows are amazing and very affordable.
she Probaby Buys her products from Places Like Boots, Superdrug or some everyday supermarkets like Tesco or Asda. I think most of her products are bought in the uk, But im pretty sure that they are sold elsewhere:)

another good gel eyeliner i found was from wet in wild. :) never used gel liner before but i love it way more than pencil :)

i don't like the maybelline lasting drama. but it's great for beginners because they can practice with it and just invest with an expensive one.. that eyeliner flakes when i rub my eyes when it's itchy sometimes.. and it does las song but after an hour if fades and that eyeliner makes my brush had and needs to wash it
