confusing info on their website, they write it "could" reach 20000 LUX but then it is written at full power 2000 LUX or so... yet price is interesting and this one is really good for being a tube
Thank you for the review! I just ordered one prior to seeing this. Very disappointed that the color portion is relatively so weak. But, my principal thought in using this is when I'm shooting in the daytime with clients when I need the most power to fill the subject when they are strongly backlit and for that I need strong warm white! I have other wands and have had no issue with lacking power shooting colors in a studio environment really but I was hoping for more to be able to have a stronger backlight or to fill a backdrop with color. I do also wish it was longer as length adds softer light distribution on the subject when I turn wands horizontally.
The fan noise for being a 100 watt light is irrelevant. There are lights designed for interviews, others are not. Those fans need to blast that heat out of the unit as efficiently and as aggressive as possible.
I will. For video I will use it for Bridal prep, music video, fashion, engagement videos, anything that doesn’t require audio. Each tool for the right job. To make this light fanless is impossible. Same goes for the Aputure 1200D loud fan, 1200 watts. Neither one of these are designed nor intended for interviews. for a room of your size, you can use the FR100C at 10% power. It’s silent.
You can use this light without the MAX setting. Battery life: Runtime at max power: 21min Runtime in 100% brightness: 1h4min Runtime in 50% brightness: 2h16min
@@ArtVideoProductions That’s impressive! I was thinking about using them for event work, but 1 hour at 100% isn’t any better than my current set up, and the batteries are internal on this one. I may still pick up just to test it out, and see if it’s worth it for what I do. Thanks for your time, and for the info.
@@AbdonPhirathon you can buy a Pure Sine Wave lithium power generator and have that thing last for several hours at MAX. It fits in a backpack, but make sure you get a breathable one like this (I have it and use this exact one) amzn.to/3zQtetH

Very tempting for the brightness
I have a dozen wand and tube lights. Brightness? Nothing comes close this this.

Congratulations on the honest review! Very informative :) I appreciated the approach towards photo usage as well.
Thanks Ricardo! 👊
Very helpful video, thank you. I'll still probably get it, but AFTER I get a different light for my specific immediate needs.
I've been thinking about a tube light. This one seems solid. I’ll buy one now!
So bright. Feels like it is suitable for photography.I prefer the white one
I wish I could have both, black and white 😭
I need to take a picture of the balloon, but the work area doesn't have a window. May I ask if this light will help me?
The 100W power FR100C Light surprised me so much! Now I want to know how the heat dissipation is solved?
There’s nothing to solve. It’s a high power light. The heat is normal.
how much hours can battery hold?
RGB light strength is kind of disappointing. 😔Runtime on a full charge at 100% strength white?
RGB… Yea kinda…
Battery life: CCT
Runtime at max power: 21min
Runtime in 100% brightness: 1h4min
Runtime in 50% brightness: 2h16min
@@ArtVideoProductions Great, thanks!!
What's the name of that bag you used (not the cheap Zhiyun)?
That bag is a Sutefoto brand of a tube light I’ve reviewed a few weeks ago . It’s not available to buy separately, unfortunately.
I’m assuming you can charge it with an external 100watt power bank
100 watts I’m sure there no problem. But to charge while using, then, def 120 watts
Hi ,does this mean that I won't need to buy additional high-power lighting accessories after using FR100C?
The combo kit is the one that includes the power supply. If you need it, choose the combo option.
Is the cooling fan loud?

no remote control?
No remote, no App. This is primarily designed for “on the fly”… shoot, move, shoot.
@@ArtVideoProductions Thank you!
OMG that is loud! I'd use this for photography but not for video. :/

This is the stick light I've been looking for. But I’m worried about battery life

@@ArtVideoProductions What’s the difference between Max Power and 100% Brightness?
@@AbdonPhirathon the Max DOUBLES the output. It’s insane! I’ve never seen that before in a wand light.

Useless. Go for Amaran tubelights
