I'd like to see drivers who reach an almost impossible level of consistency be rewarded with wind visualizations in the sim. I'd love it if a driver could reach a level where visual wind and slipstream cues would fade into view. Call it "the zone". And it would only be awarded to drivers posting laps that are within say, .0001 seconds of each other. It would only appear on those rare occasions when the driver, the machine and the road become locked in a synchronic dialog in which lap times are posted that call into question the calibration on the timing machines. It would appear at times in which the mere recognition of the fact that it's on the screen would be enough of a distraction to make the driver lose concentration and cause it to disappear. A once in a lifetime level. That's what I want.

Idk why people assume it was banned because it was quick, in qualifying, it was 12 seconds behind the lead prototype lmao. It doesn't sound like a v10 because the internal working of a rotary r not balanced like a v10's firing order. There s something punchy about the 787's exhaust more akin to a v8 with a flat plane- plus 4 rotors mathematically resembles 8 cylinders instead of 10.

Pretty sure he was using the paddles. The car shifts gears like it's a traditional manual because that's the kind of transmission they're equipped with. It wouldn't be realistic if they shifted like as fast as a sequential or dual-clutch.
