That's my backyard and you picked a really low tide. It's really beautiful upstream when the levels are up. I ride a mint condition 2003 GTX4Tech and the Peace River from Zolfo Springs south to Lettuce Lake is my favorite place to ride.
Yes that is obvious to us now… we need to come back at the proper tide and as I noted… water levels were up 7’ from when we were there… slightly down to 5’ yesterday. You are right we probably need to come back to see the “real” Peace River…👍👍
Damn sorry we missed you guys! You picked the one day in December that I was out of town. Still wanna go with you guys sometime if I get an invite - don’t give up on me! Can’t wait to see your Naples video and hope you saw the dome houses
We go to that river almost every weekend not the last few cause it's been cold you put in at the Navigator we put in at Lettuce lake a lot better ramp during summer we can go almost to Wachula but I've been on that river since 1988 pretty knowable on where and where not to go If you come down during the warmer month I'll show you all the spots it's a great river
Thanks Mike I’ll remember that offer…. So with what I described right before Christmas are you NOT surprised we had some challenges? Also now that the river is 7’ higher would those challenges disappear? What cold? 😳🤔🤣😎
No I didn't hit the frozen tundra today. I couldn't imagine with this wind what that would even be like. The last time I was out was two weeks ago on a Friday. I plan on going this week.
@@BobBroekingI don't think so I saw those boulder rocks by that boat ramp. I did have a question though. It looked like the guy you talked to on the right was the one that bottomed out on the sandbar. I say that because of the water that shot up when it looked like he hit the bottom.
Those rocks are non players…. No the guys I stopped to ask for help was the boat I was following near the bank… the boat that hit the sand bar went by at the end of the conversation in the background. 👍👍
I don’t know about stressful … a bit frustrating for sure. Early in my jet ski career I would look at a river that size and say “of course it’s deep enough” not when I look and it says 1’ I am like 🤦♂️. I dodged an entertainment center floating in the Gulf one day…. Hahahaha. After a pretty good storm…
I think I have around 274 hours. I usually have an about a table spoon of water in the hull whether I am riding it in 3 ‘ waves or glass. Maybe it gets in when I am washing it… ha

No you picked the one day we were coming to ski in your backyard to be out of town… 😂. It was not very fruitful any how… we blame you…. Hahahaha

My most loyal subscriber…. Thank you!
Cool!!
hahahhaha... how do you know you have not even watched it yet? Did you get out today on your lakes?

Well you ready to go do the Peace River after watching?

Can’t wait for warmer weather in NC
Thanks for watching. We had a cold snap this weekend ourselves… warming back up tomorrow to 80’s later this week. Going out in ski Tuesday. Bob
That looked like a stressful ride. I'm glad you didn't hit anything in that river. I know someone hit a vending machine before.

Thank you for watching and giving a thumbs up. 👍
Nice, how many hours on your ski? Have you had any issues with water leaking into the hull after a ride or is it bone dry?
