Damn, that truck driver wasn't having any of it. I wonder if he got robbed before to prepare himself this much and be armed with a shotgun. Either way, Dom and his team FAFO in this heist.
I love that years later Vin has fought Rock, Statham and Momoa and beat all their asses, and this random truck driver at the start wrecks the whole team.
When this movie came out they tried to be at least a bit realistic 🤣

Had Brian not yelled that Vince was going into Shock, Dom probably would've broken every Bone in Brian after Brian blew his Cover.
That's probably my favourite part of this whole scene. Dom hears "Officer" and you IMMEDIATELY see what could happen next. However he chose his...FAMILY ( sorry ) and it was a great instance of that in this scene.

Brian used his resources and called a helicopter so Vince had a chance to actually survive.

But the guy that acted as the truck driver died the year after the movie came out, so maybe they will have a new truck driver

Back when this franchise made sense. One of my favourite all time movies that enhanced my love for cars and car culture. The franchise wouldn’t be where it is without Paul Walker. I never knew him personally but I miss him a lot. He was a great actor and I liked all his films.

My guess is that a few tiny bits of the shell fired hit the tyre and the sparks are the rims occasionaly making contact with the road

This is still the best film in the entire franchise (closely followed by both the 4th and 5th one). I blame The Rock's arrival for turning this into some sort of "Die hard" + "Mission Impossible" thing. When he showed up, absurdity started. The "Fast and Furious" franchise is one hell of example of what "beating a dead horse' truly means.
Plus, Paul's absence has been hard for them to negotiate, just like they tried to do with Brandon Lee and all the films that followed his passing. Hell, even Edward Furlong was cast once to no avail.
RIP to both of them.

I’ve watch this movie since I was 4 years old and this the only movie that made me fell in love with cars in the first place. This movie still hold a special place in my heart along with the second movie and the third movie ❤️
I love cars from my head to my feet, but to me, a movie’s a movie. When Paul Walker died, they say he disengrated in the fire because his seatbelt would not come off. Well, God had it all planned for Paul the second he was born. Gold will take you anytime he wants, just don’t be scared. My Grandparents died recently and I can’t wait to see them again!!
