@@anthonygarcia4158 so, you are saying that this soak, which prevents you from being interrupted when drinking and reduces incoming damage, is better than Bee Mountain Stone??? Well, let's put it this way: if you make a senseless build (poor sparks distribution, wrong relics activated, using a weapon that is best for thrust stance whilst you are using only smash stance, using pieces of random equipment, etc) it might feel good for you and you enjoy the game anyways, but it doesn't change the fact that the build itself is bad. Now, remember that a lot of players started playing this kind of game just now, with Wukong. And they might have little to no experience with builds, character progression, etc and their actual skills (dodging, timing their attacks to avoid taking damage, etc) might not be as sharp either. Its with all this in mind that I make such videos, to help those who could improve their builds with just a bit of advice and guidance. I do not claim however that "my vuild is the best ever", or anythijg like it. Thank you for watching the video and supporting the channel.
Disagree with most of this. Upgrading armour is very important - the Pilgrim armour fully upgraded is a game changer. The standard brew sucks compared to the one that gives you also Mana back since you get to use much more spells that way.
@BenLiuChungHin that reveals two things: your playstyle revolves entirely around running around and using smash heavy attacks and requires the use of lots of spells. And that's fine. But that is not a playstyle I would encourage anyone to use for various reasons. Upgrading armour is also NOT important, as the game will actually give you better armour options as you progress, meaning that upgrading armour you already have, is not really necessary. Unless, of course, your playstyle revolves around that specific armour, such as the pilgrims. Now, here is the thing: most players do not wish to simple run around, charging their heavy attacks and smash. Like myself, for example. I tried that and it was boring, not fun or challenging at all and (in my opinion) requires zero skill to use. With my opinion I'm mind, I offered the advice on the video. You are of course entitled to disagree and that is totally fine, but when it comes to the brew? The standard brew sucks??? It gives you 10 uses when fully upgraded. It's the only one that does that. The next best one, give you 8. That is two less heals. Heals that, with the right drink and soaks, will easily restore 60% of your HP back. For what? For some mana? So you can cast more spells? What good are those spells if you're dead? And I have seen this first hand. I have helped more than 400 people via share play and they all agreed in the end that having the good heals and extra gourd uses was way better than getting a little bit of mana back. Thanks for the support and for watching my content
Depending on your preferable playstyle, yes, he can be one of the best if you like to run around and heavy hit the boss. I tried that but it bored me big time. I'm more about perfect dodges and building up focus with light attack combos for the 4 focus hit heavy hits. Still, pilgrims is a good armour set, just not for my style. Same for bull king armour set, because it disables perfect dodges. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it
@hungrymanincjj what I mean is that the pilgrim set benefits from simple strategy: running around whilst charging heavy with smash stance. I never said its a bad strategy. Quite the opposite in fact. I just said it bored me doing that and it does not suit my style. My style revolves around light attack combos and perfect dodges to get focus up to 4 as quick as possible for heavier hits. That's it. I find that to be a much more fun, skill-based playstyle. Thanks for watching the video and leaving your comment.

I play the Smash stance and haven’t tried the Pillar stance but the Golden Loong staff looks pretty attractive with the high attack rating. And the spellbinder attack numbers would be substantially higher than I can achieve with my current 70 attack rated staff even without the bonus for Pillar stance attacks. There is quite a lot of mixing and matching in this game and so it’s difficult to pick a meta-set up as you go through the chapters.
