Forgot to mention...check your oil too! Make sure there is enough and if in doubt, drain it and put new oil in
It's really nice to see someone restoring one of these little bikes and even going as far as making them cafe racers. I have one sitting around so seeing you do this makes me want to do it too. Maybe next winter/summer

With my carb I just took out the filter n kept the plastic covers n put them back on. Just so nothing got sucked in
