Once again, I thank you for sharing this series. Because of you, I interviewed (of several) and chose Dr Green for my combo extended tummy tuck (incision wrapped around to my back, but not joined), breast lift without implants and brachioplasty. I did not have lipo. I am an unusually healthy 62 year old, having lost weight 10 years ago on my own and having stayed at over 100lbs under my highest of 220lbs. I am 5ft tall so being around 110 most of the time for years, has been delightful. I was overweight as a child, teen, young adult and mother, although very interested in nutrition, I was addicted, especially to wheat products and ravenously hungry until I stopped them. Gradually I found a better way without carbs. I landed on clean carnivore with occasional keto. I had a droopy belly, breasts and arms, and though I looked ok in clothes, I really wanted to tidy up to be less uncomfortable naked or in workout gear or swimsuits for the rest of my, hopefully long, life. Dr Green did an amazing job, and outside of the faint stretch marks from my 4 children, my abdomen looks like “a teenager” my husband says. My belly button is spectacular!Extending the incision around the sides allowed him to lift my outer hips beautifully. My arms look great and since returning to heavier weight training, I love my shapely shoulders and arms, not hampered by dangly skin. I was fortunate to have a lot of help at home, a treadmill and I got a great deal on a reclining lift chair, which I slept in for the first few weeks. I hope to have an infragluteal lift of the under-glute skin and a j-torsoplasty for the side-underarm skin I’d love tightened, and a facelift. It has been 10 months since my surgery, and I was lucky not to have the nerve pain you had. I notice every day that I feel less “surgical” and I am thrilled that not only have I recovered well, but I am thriving in my workouts. It scared me that my first abdominal workouts hurt, and they still do a smidge, but those 5 minutes 4 times a week are helping everything stay cinched. I recently got a bungee rebounder as an osteoporosis measure and have been surprised to see that my 5 minute sessions 2 times a day clearly activate my under-glute muscles and have done more for raising and shaping my rear, way beyond my usual pretty focused and strenuous glute workouts. Anyway, I’m super happy. This was the only surgery I’ve had since my only cesarean (first baby 1986, other 3 born at home). I am now a big fan of enteric release Bromelain for reducing inflammation and improved healing also. Great after surgery. Thanks again for all you do for us!!
What an incredible message!!!! Wow! Congratulations on your weightloss and how you changed your life! I can obviously relate to the four kids and lose skin. I can also fully relate to working out but never loving seeing skin etc no matter what I did. It’s incredible feeling the freedom of a tight stomach and I agree Dr Green does incredibly belly buttons! I’m so happy that your surgery went so well and that you have future ones coming!!!! One day I’ll do the neck and facelift:)
I had my Tummy Tuck surgery a year after you (Feb 22 this year) and you were my companion along the way :) From the lifting chair to vitamins and post walks and massages as well as the ups and downs, all were invaluable advices. Thank you so much! I'm six months in recovery and I feel so good both physically and mentally. If you are on the fence, I'd say pick a great surgeon close to home, get help lined up for a week post surgery and do it!
I’m so glad you caught this and reached out!!! Thank you and congratulations on your body transformation. Seriously at 6 months I thought I was recovered but I was surprised how much I didn’t think about my scars or feel them itch or tingle any longer. Also just from the nature of life my mobility has continued to improve. I agree with you completely on picking a great local surgeon and having help for the first week!!!! Thank you again 😘
This was an amazing experience. It's incredible reliving it through your videos. I was a simple bystander, but watching you go through the prep and recovery was impressive. I hope anyone whose thinking about do this will watch your videos! They definitely detail the reality!
Nerve pain in my upper thigh was no joke, worse pain overall, had it for about 2 weeks....cant imagine your pain lasting for months!!! You poor thing, glad you are over thatl... thanks for sharing 😊 x
Thank you for sharing your experience! I feel like I have more realistic expectations! Your compilation of videos truly informs and helps in preparation! You Rock!!! Thank you again!!!
You look Amazing!!!! So gorgeous ❤😍 I Can't wait, I am doing my mommy makeover in February, thinking of filming it, these will be my first vids ever on RUclips, we will see how it goes ..lol. I am going to Dr. William Miami in Florida.. I am excited and a bit scared.. ❤
Congratulations 🎊 how exciting!!! You should definitely film!!! I think if you are planning on filming it and you’ve never filmed, vlogged, or edited previously you should start practicing before you get the surgery so you are able know what your doing while on meds or feeling like misery. I had been blogging since 2016 so by 2023 filming myself everyday was just habit. Getting it to be a habit of you want to document something like this could help you as you prepare for February!!! I hope everything goes beautifully:)
Thanks for linking your chair! There are so many options on Amazon and didn't really know how they compare to the ones you can buy locally. I rented one by the month for my first surgery this past January (tummy, 360, arm lift) and spent about $1300 🤪. I'll definitely buy for my chest and thigh lift coming up!
Oh my goodness the rental fee is insane! The one I got was around $400 and worked great!!! Congratulations on all of your procedures it all sounds fabulous!!!
Dr Green was showing you the option of a lower body butt lift or as one MD calls it “a half of a belt” lipectomy, since you already had the tummy tuck half. That is where the odd butt crack problems sometimes happen. Brazilian butt lifts, I believe, major on transferring liposuctioned fat only. I bet they are often combined. Infragluteal lifts remove skin under the butt cheeks and a thong lift uses incisions in the butt crack to remodel the butt cheeks on either side.
Thank you for this extra insight. The terminology I think gets mixed around a lot on the procedural options. He knows my goal is to get that lose back skin up so we were looking at options and from his perspective not much can be done that would be worthwhile outcome for my body. However, I’m hopeful the surgery options just keep improving:)
Gosh your body fat percentage is too low I think? Have you lost volume in your face? I have to say you are only slightly recognizable these days. Do you feel much happier having all of that done?
This is great information as I just had a reverse tummy tuck and spiral thigh lift with Renuvion . Now I’m just dealing with stretching and getting back into dance shape and scarring. I am using growth factor serum everyday on my scars and Silagen liquid. My doctor also put me on peptides like you for faster healing ❤️🩹
That’s amazing!!!! Congratulations how exciting for you! How have you been feeling? And I’m going to look the spiral thigh lift up bc I’m not familiar but it sounds fascinating to me 😘😘
