The fact that the warden wasn't meant to be killed but cookie decided to make an entire farm for it-
That was true at first, but then they decided to make it drop a Sculk Catalyst. For the average person the Warden isn't meant to be killed and even if you do it isn't worth it, but for more experienced players it's a renuable source of catalysts

AFKing at a Warden farm in hardcore takes way more guts than I have ever had and ever will have.
That said, I desperately want to build this.
Less than a minute in and Cookie already almost lost the world, never change.

cant you automate charcoal production via feeding your tree farm into a furnace? then just build the coal blocks out of charcoal? i genuinely dont know as ive never tried
u can't do it like this way because u can't make out of charcoal coal blocks but u could make a whither skeleton farm who dropps "normal coal"

A little tip the shriekers can't hear you but the skull sensors can they will activate the skull shrieker so you don't need those carpet all around it except for when the skulk sensors are around

You should add a target where the sensor is so your bow does the noise and that you could be closer to the hidden door when it closes and opens

If you get the blindness effect from the warden you should turn on your hitboxs because you can still see the outcome of it and it is really helpful
its called darkness not blindness
If you turn off darkness pulsing they're basically the same
I think I figured out what was making the door go crazy: it’s probably picking up the signal from all the wardens that are drowning on the other side of the door, but cookie thinks best so I trust his theory best.

Hey cookie I love your idea for the secret doors activation motion I just wanted to let you know the sensor wasn't picking up the redstone click it was picking up the pistons if you place wool between the sensor and the pistons itll block the sound it's a little tricky to get right but it's possible I used it for a door activation in a laboratory build I made so all I had to do was walk towards the doors and they would open hope this helps 😊

@aCookieGod The reason why the door was glitching is because the sculk sensor triggers when it hears sound. The pistons makes sound which triggers the sculk sensor infinitely. To fix this, surround the pistons with wool, or surround the sculk sensor with wool so the sound of the piston doesn’t trigger the sculk sensor.
That's a really good idea I used a method similar to this for the build and was struggling with getting the sensor covered I'm gonna have to try covering the piston

@aCookieGod if you put a catalyst near the warden then you could end up having an xp farm of some sorts right next to the warden farm. Catalysts sense a mob dying and make skulk appear around it once something dies nearby. when you break the skulk with a hoe then it is instabreak and you can get xp. (make sure it isn't silk touch)
