I cut my oleander in August and I kept them in a glass of water to produce roots, but almost all the cuttings died, they faded. Please help me to understand why. Best method is to use water in jar method leave in jar for 6-7 weeks transplant into pot of soil or directly plant in ground water lightly daily they will take off nicely, its not good idea to put fresh cuttlings into soil they generally do not take they must have thick root growth on them before they can be planted.
