Sandwich = any type of protien surrounded by some sort of starch (ie bread) therefore hamburgers and hot dogs can theoretically be classified as a “sandwich”
Correct. It’s not possible to have a restaurant and a drive thru run by one person. That’s not even realistic. Dev should have made hiring kitchen staff a priority in the early stages of the game.
Just FYI, one would have to change the oil in a commercial fryer once a week, maybe even every 2 weeks. McDonald's only changes their oil as needed, meaning they filtered the oil and topped it off. So, we've all eaten "contaminated" food.
32:08 Yea I i think it would be better too if the customers didn't come over and over like clockwork. Would be more a sim if it was more randomized timing where they come normal, where there's slow periods, and when there is a rush. Also I wish they just paid at the register where you had to give correct change, etc like the Grocery sim games and came and got their food at the counter like most fast food places. Hopefully maybe with updates they can have this current version be the "arcade mode" and an actual simulator mode with those changes.
The roles of server and busser should be combined. I've worked in many fast food places where the cashier takes care of the dining room and restrooms. Being able to assign primary and secondary roles to employees would be helpful. We do need a line cook role.
I think contaminated is just the games way of saying the oil is burnt up and needs replacing. You can reuse oil for only so long before the fries start to taste like the filet o fish and stuff like that. That's what contaminated means, cross contamination. So when it's close to being 100%, you change it. But you don't need to change it at 25% Yes a hot dog is a sandwich. According to several books on the subject, "hot dog" is the slang term created by clerks in early 20th century soda fountains for a frankfurter sandwich. So yes, end the debate. a hot dog is a sandwich.
If you click the order tv thingy, you can see it better. It zooms you in like it does with the computer. Also if you make multiple burgers at once, I recommend labeling them. It’s just one extra E click after you wrap them. Makes it easier to make sure you don’t put the wrong thing in the wrong order.
The reason McDonald's fries "aren't what they used to be" is twofold: 1) McDonalds stopped cooking it's fries in beef tallow because it wasn't vegetarian/vegan friendly, they now use a canola blend 2) Safety regulations now limit the maximum temperature of certain appliances and menu items to help reduce risks to workers and customers. The latter is why most fried items are now a bit soggy. The items need to remain in the oil longer to cook thoroughly, meaning they often absorb far too much oil and don't crisp properly.
47:51 I absolutely loved the GF subscribed bit. I definitely watch your youtube videos to go to sleep "in the middle of the night" so this was just hilarious. 😂
I feel like you're placing the burger patties down too fast, you need to give yourself time to flip each one. Best timing I've figured for cooking 12 burger patties at once is 4 seconds between placing each patty, and 10 seconds between each set of 6. gives you plenty of time to watch, wait, flip and retrieve them all at perfect 100% without panicking or fumbling.
I love watching your these videos I usually hate watching long videos but this makes me feel like I can actually watch you just finished your other 5 hour live of this game and it was amazing almost halfway into this one and it’s so good. Keep up the good work
I say they should have some sort of way to group the ingredients when you order them that way is quick to the order so rather than picking one by one you have it already done in a group setting of how much you would need based on that day or couple days I guess I don't know how the day cycle the hip works but it'd be great to have a favorite list of things that you normally will buy or need and you just would have tap of the bud and you'll be able to order a set of ingredients or whatever maybe tuesdays you order burgers and buns that's one group and they charge you Accordingly
good thing they didn't add salt for the fries. could you imagine? one fry needs 1 salt and the next fry needs 3 salts. i hate how the game does that with the condiments. if a burger gets pickles, they should all get 3 pickles - they all get 2 tomatoes - one lettuce, like whatever the numbers need to be. but each order getting a different number is ridiculous. "can i get a burger with lettuce and tomato?" "how many?" it's dumb.
It is actually possible to do it i had to multitask 3 orders at the same time trying to reduce movement in certain areas and not go back and forth so many times once you process the orders start with the ice cream and drinks first follow by fries then the burger
I agree. McDonalds does have the worse fries. I worked there once and they are soggy, greasy and cold. And I did have to do a bus run on my own. I left the next day.
I made it level 15 but haven’t tried the drive thru yet. I tried a day with just added fries and it kicked my butt. I think I might move it down to Easy at this point. I believe it makes the orders simpler, which should help speed me up.
Watching Kanz play on normal while playing on easy myself it absolutely does not make the orders themselves easier. People still almost always order one of everything, with completely random set of ingredients. it does however give the customers infinite patience, and they seem to possibly come in a bit slower, though that could be because I set the day cycle to 12 minutes after assuming that that would be the expected result, so it could be confirmation bias
I played this early access till level 20. It is clear to me that the devs have showed no respect for single players at all. It is obvious that they are aiming only at multiplayer mode. Which is a shame. Cause it seems to be a decent simulator. There is no possible way to manage ALL these procedures without hiring more people at crucial posts. Additionally, the fact that you cannot hold a bunch of items stuck on each other is tremendously stupid. Whenever you make a large order to your wholesaler, you have to carry every single item one at a time. Unloading the truck and placing the products to the store takes an insane amount of time and effort. For single player mode to be playable (!) devs need to implement many more automated processes. Otherwise, this game is doomed. Last but not least, a simulator without the option of configuring, expanding, improving and decorating your business is out of the question. My opinion: devs hurried way too much to open the game to the public. Maybe they needed some extra money to buy their Christmas gifts... Shame.
Go have a Root Beer Float.
I will

@Kanzalone I've had a root beer float and I'm from 🇬🇧 lol 😆 I enjoyed you're stream so much

That why currently is design around multiplayer and not solo played, because it is impossible to do all that.
You can play with both drive thru and restaurant if you’re playing on easy mode. Since there is no wait time. I play it all the time and do just fine!
Just FYI, one would have to change the oil in a commercial fryer once a week, maybe even every 2 weeks. McDonald's only changes their oil as needed, meaning they filtered the oil and topped it off. So, we've all eaten "contaminated" food.
Being able to carry more then 1 thing would be nice
In my opinion, every game should be geared towards SOLO player FIRST. Then multiplayer should/can come later as a feature.

Could be like McDonalds and the ice cream machine could be broke😂

Where I live, you pay at the first window and pickup at the second , but only during busy times.

I agree McDonald's fries suck. I do like Arby's curly fries or Rally's fries
