I think having testers can reassure that the terms are universal and understanding to most people. Love the cardigan, i would love to buy it , but I'm not confident I would understand a non-traditional pattern
Very understandable!! I understand your hesitation. I personally have never purchased a traditional pattern because i know I couldn’t understand one. I sometimes don’t even watch tutorials for the same reason. Thats why i make tutorials - so that if there is someone like me they can actually make something but in a simplified way. I do have my boyfriend edit my patterns & he says he can understand at a certain level & he doesnt crochet. I do have reviews on my etsy shop! Heres one that I found for this piece: i’m so happy that she creates non-traditional patterns, the construction of the garment is explained at a beginner level- and you don’t have to learn the crochet language to translate the pattern. It’s great! Recently i’ve been thinking of calling my patterns visual patterns or something because ive seen many companies use the similar method as me ( many images and words to describe how to make the piece) All in all - i’m not trying to convince you to purchase it. Just i know some of my patterns are harmless lol 😂 This one has more increases /decreases but thats about it.
