    This is the best explanation of the difference between religion (I am a soul inside of my body) Advaita ( I am the non judgmental witness of every thing) and Tantra (I am every thing) Thank you Alan for sharing your picks of the teachings of Rupert.

    You are not the experience. You are the one that witness the experience. That witnessing You is same as ONE universal consciousness ❤

    Awareness is the I. So in all 3 possibilities, the I survives as awareness. The I is illusory and any teaching only perpetuates that.

    • @alanneachell9092

      His definition of 'I' is the sense of existence which of course is not illusory.

    Absolutely beautiful explanation! You've got to hand it to Rupert Spira - sometimes he just nails it. I, however, would have referred to self #2 (nothing) as "pure subjectivity" and I wouldn't have used the confusing word "witness" in #3. But this was really special and I love the "transcendent plus immanent" part.That's a distinction everyone should know. Perhaps the video should stop there to let things sink in. It's so powerful.

    I still don’t get the third way. One way is body/mind, second is witness awareness. What is the third way?

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  Год назад +5

      Third way is to see that everything appears in me (including the body) and is made of me. I am everything.
