beautifully done. I just shared this with my son who recently joined a church choir. I wanted to let him hear a fine example of blending. he got what I meant right away. thank you. I've sung this several times in church choirs...in early Advent as Mary's Song. your choir did very well indeed.
This is SO BEAUTIFUL! It sounds just like the chorus that sings this at Midnight Mass on Christmas. I was hoping to find 1 since COVID has made it so we can't safely sing in church. This is so touching. Thank you for recording and posting for everyone to enjoy. God bless. Merry Christmas!
Christ, my Chorus teacher is rubbing off on me. When they said heaven I immediately thought “Wrong” 😂 My chorus teacher has us pronouncing shit differently, like “Heaven” would sound more like “Heav-uhn”
Angelo Santiago, Jr. seriously ! My director had us sing with our pointer fingers at the corners of our mouth during practice so we wouldn’t go wide. She always said long, tall, round notes because it will sound better to the audience. Now I know she is right !
taylor henderson Good christ, I would hate to be in that chorus class 😂 My teacher usually just repeats himself over and over again until we finally end up getting it right
God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth with a message for Mary, who was promised in marriage to Joseph. The angel told Mary that she would have a son, whom she was to name Jesus. The angel said, “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God.” Mary asked how this could be as she was a virgin. The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and God’s power will rest on you.” He also told Mary that her elderly relative Elizabeth was six months pregnant, for there is nothing that God cannot do. Mary replied, “I am the Lord’s servant”. Elizabeth was the wife of Zechariah, cousin of Mary and mother of John Baptist. Elizabeth was unable to have children and was well beyond child bearing years when amazingly she conceived a son. Her husband, Zechariah, was visited by the Angel Gabriel and given the blessed news in the temple. Unable to fully believe what he was hearing, Zechariah was made mute. While Elizabeth was pregnant, she was visited by Mary, the expectant mother of Jesus. Upon hearing Mary speak, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb leapt for joy. Elizabeth gave birth to a son who they named John as the Angel Gabriel had commanded and Zechariah's ability to speak returned. Their son John became John the Baptist, the prophet who foretold the coming of Jesus. John the Baptist leapt for joy in Elizabeth's womb. How cool is that?
This takes me back to my old high school days 😩😍
