Here in California McDonald's employees get $20 per hour. In the 1970s 60 cent Big Macs 20 cent fries & 20 sodas! Hamburgers were made with egg buns. You eat like a King so occasionally fast food is ok.

My first BigMac was in 1968 in Honolulu and it was super good, McDonalds opened their first Hawaii location about then. Danny you weren't born yet. The BigMac has since gotten smaller and smaller, I think the Mac is still good. I have never had a McRib though. I live in Texas now and I don't know if the McRib is being sold here.
Not a fan of McDonalds anymore, quality of the food isn't as it once was plus the prices have gone up too. I guess that holds true for most fast food burger joints now a days. They offer a better menu serving a better burger, fries, chili beans, fresh salads ( I know you don't eat salads, LOL)!
Same feeling about McRIB . Love and love to eat it again. Good combo. A roll, sauce, onions and texture of rib. Go so well with ice coke. No tap water.

Danny I am glad you at least had an excellent meal at the Jasmine at the Bellagio before eating a McRib. I ate one for the first time out of curiosity and I would give it a 5 max. Never ate one before because I found it visually gross the way they take pork trimmings and force mold them into a mold of a slab of ribs. Meat has no flavor and overly sauced with too sweet a sauce. I have no nostalgic memories of maybe wolfing one down after a night of partying with friends in my youth so to me and my wife who also never had one so we split it and decided to never eat one again early New Year's resolution. Thanks Danny. Its UK£5.89 here for the McRib. Everything from USA is exactly the same price but in Pounds. So our prices here are 25% more. My preference would be to give a McRib without the sauce, provide additional sauces and extra onions. You are so generous with the scores. I have not been to a McD anywhere in the world over the last 10 months.

Every now and then, about once every 4-5 months, I’ll cheat and get a McDonald’s meal. There’s something naughty about eating fries and drinking a Diet Coke, and it just makes life a little more fun. Next day, not so much, but great in the moment.

McRib is a permanent regular menu item in Germany and Luxembourg. So, maybe Germans enjoy the company of old ex-GFs? who knows. In contrast, the French McDonald's has a "Croque McDo", also a regular menu item, that tourists say is delicious. It's a toasted French ham and cheese. And Netherlands has the McKroket. It's a deep fried patty of mashed potato with bits of ground beef inside. Don't know if any good. Also don't know why foreign locations get more variety than US McDs. McRib = Prosperity Burger (beef or chicken) in HK, Malaysia and Singapore (muslims don't eat pork). I don't like the raw onions, otherwise McRib is okay. Nice review!

Someone shared the McRib with me once many years ago. I remember there were pickles and it was sweet maybe? I only order the Filet O'Fish meal. Bought McNuggets for my dog once on a road trip and she refused to eat it. Somebody else's dog in our group happily ate them for her. I wanted to try their new Chicken Big Mac but my friend thinks I won't like it and it's messy so I don't know.
I'm curious why you ordered two drinks. Isn't it free refills? Wouldn't it cost less to order one large meal and add the McNuggets and burger separately?

The secret to getting hot McDonald’s fries is to ask for fries with NO salt. I miss the super chopped and formed McRib sandwich
