Tsunamia is a piece of art. It's not a song, it's a vocal and instrumental performance

“Keeper” was haunting. I heard it as the young bridge of a man who was called to fight in the war, just as their life together was starting, and he never came back. A tragically relevant message with interesting production. I think it could be a real moment at Eurovision with the right staging.

Vidbir is incredible this year. So many strong entries and an incredible showcase of culture I have always loved from them. Probably going to end up being one of my fave selections. They know quality and this selection is just the definition of that. I love hoe they are always true to themselves and are almost always incredible. My opinions on the Vidbir songs are below.
    Yellow tier:
Glasss: this song is good. The instrumentation and production are incredible but the vocals are too loud and screamy for my taste. Too intense for my liking. But it could grow on me but I really don’t know how this would be translated live.
Palala: pretty generic and a little droning but I like the ethnic elements in this. Agree with you here definitely. Could also be longer as it is quite short which is a bad thing in this case.
Time is Running Out: I like this entry. Her voice is amazing and the song has a captivating mood and progression but I think they could have done a bit more with the instrumental and the chorus is rather repetitive. This is not something I would straightaway pick for ESC but it would be a decent pick nonetheless.
    Green tier:
Teresa and Maria: this is incredible. It is like a religious chant and it just makes me go into another world. So incredible. Great vocals and everything else. Amazing song.
Endless Chain: I like this song loads. The instrumental is great and the song itself is quite catchy. I like his vocal style, it is very Eddie Vedder/Scott Stahp which does make it kind of tough to understand and the lyrics are quite generic as are the rhymes. Pretty good song but I wouldn’t send it.
Slavic English: I love this. It is so hilarious. The message is quite unique and I like how it essentially parodies people singing in broken English. The instrumental is sick and the vocals are solid. Love the production and it is just a tonne of fun to listen to. However U do understand your take with it because it is an entry that either really connects with you or really doesn’t and I definitely fall into the former because all of the elements you don’t like feel endearing so far.
Lalala: the song has a cool sound and is quite mainstream and my vibe. This wouldn’t fit in their usual cannon but it’d be a good entry even if the chorus is catchy, kind of bordering on repetitive. He has a cool voice and the flute solo is so sick.
Keeper: this is perfection. The message is so deep and I love how the song supports all women especially Ukrainian women in the same breath. And the song itself is beautiful and just captivating. This song is complete and utter quality.
Dreamer: love the progression and the lyrics have a deep message that I at least interpreted as a song that is in solidarity to the LGBT community. The song has such a dark sound and I love the production. His vocals are incredible as well. One of my faves from this year’s selection.
Tsunumia: love the ethnic vibes in this which just makes it transcendental to me. The white voice is beautiful and I just love everything about this entry. The sound, the production, the vocals, the mood and everything else are just incredible. This is my pick for a winner in this selection and would totally fit into their canon of entries while also being unique.
Place I Call Home: this song is just incredible. Their look ie so unique as is the song. The song had a captivating mood. I love the instrumental and how it is so 80s and mysterious. The instrumental fits the lyrics like a glove and the message about your home being taken away from you against your will and not knowing when you’ll go back. Such a heartbreaking entry in every way and it is truly haunting. So underrated by the fans. Would be a good entry for ESC but would sadly get underrated in the results.

I picked up strong "British rock" vibes from Ziferblat. Even got a few "ah, this is ... alright"-moments but every time could not recall whom they reminded me of specifically. Nonetheless, their chorus is clearly "prog-rock"-ish in origin, probably inspired by someone like Marillion of 80th. The vocalist is sometimes reminiscent of Jon Anderson of Yes, another prog-rock band of 70th. The rest also sounds familiar. Maybe ELO, or maybe from more recent times, from Franz Ferdinand and Muse era. In any case, the song is not bad at all. Pleasantly surprised that we have such bands in Ukraine. I would presume that this is not a Eurovision-format probably, yet this entry along with Ingret's one possess their own artistic/aesthetic merits that go beyond Eurovision.
As far as Yagody is concerned, you have every reason to anticipate a great performance, I believe. For, two girls from the band are professional theatre actresses. Moreover, one of them teaches acting at the University of Lviv. The rest of them are her former students. It is only natural to expect that they should know how to make great staging.
While you are waiting for their entry, you could find "Ukraiński zaspół YAGODY - Zelena Lishchyna" on youtube and check out how they lit up the audience somewhere in Poland. Like little, charming power plants!

Regarding Fiinka, I'm not sure if this fun video reached your eyes back then. Fiinka's husband is an actor in the local theater where they reside. When she found out that she had been selected, she ran out straight onto the stage in the middle of the play, where her husband was playing a woman. Fiinka screamed in excitement that she had made it to the final, the audience started applauding. While her husband, still being in the female character, said "Well, send my congrats to your husband then!"

NAHABA is a performance. Their song’s about a girl who lies under fire and on broken glass, the guy tells her not to be afraid and not to cry, although he himself is seriously wounded. This is a very strong song. I hope their act will be as strong

With Jerry and aloyna's song, those horns really need to be amped up, it was subtle but makes the song much grand.

Glass is glass, not "the voice" here 😀
    Song lyrics translated into English:
As a broken glasss, under attacks
you shouted to me not to cry,
As a broken glass, under attacks
you shouted to me not to cry

In that land there are hot days,
    in mine - hot nights…
I am begging you not to leave,
I only want to be in your embrace.
As a broken glasss, under attacks
you shouted to me not to cry,
As a broken glasss, under attacks
you shouted to me not to cry

    Your cold embrace
    is tearing up my soul.
And I am lying down as a broken glass, under attacks
and feel a breathe of pain on my forehead.
And I am lying down as a broken glass under attacks
And only see your back in the distance.
This song is as if reflecting from some point internal stage of many of us, ukrainians...
    🥲
