Hi to all! My new album TEENAGERS is finally out!

What's your fav track so far?
Is there a place where I can, like, send 10-15€ your way and receive a zip file full of mp3s?
IThe
Can I just say your track hometown is absolutely amazing. It's my favourite track and I'm so so pleased I could purchase it on vinyl as I only collect and play vinyl records. Call me old fashioned but vinyl will never die in my opinion. Thank you so much for such a great recording. Much 💕
Heroes is my fav track so far. Reminds me of a classical composition.

It's unfair how good the French are at electronic music.

Love this comment. What a great observation.
Yeah. Every character sees a sign from their perspective. I think we can all relate.
I saw a metaphor for all of life; everything interesting to us, everyone we've ever loved, every obsession we've ever had, is just us being fascinated by an interesting signal we see in the background of the universe... It's all life really is

The French can't put together a rock band to save their lives but when it comes to electronic, that's a different story.
Um..Gojira is amazing. Just saying. That's more so metal..but still.

A few weeks ago. Woke up in my tent at first light, in the mountains of central France. Striked camp and got back into my car to continue the trip. Turned on the music. This came up as the car glided along the road, winding downhill between old volcanic chimneys as far as I could see. Colors exploded under the sunrise, towers of volcanic rocks glittering above trees. French 79. Perfect moment.
I know that feeling - and then every time you hear the song, you have that scenery back in front of your inner eye
*I just noticed something!* At 4:30, the lights spell out "79" in binary:
0100 = 4
0010 = 2
1000 = 8
0001 = 1
0000 = 0
1111 = 15
4 * 2 * 8 * 1 = 64
And...
64 + 15 = *79*
The drawings the girl made probably spell out some message as well.
Ok now this is impressive great job
It can be the numero for the french departement for example 64 it’s the number of the region « pays basque » :)
I was listening to this song and reading the comments when i arrived to yours i was like '' wow ... i knew this song's clip was going to be special when i first saw the producer's logo that appeared in the beginning, but .. .not as much as this !!! ''
And then i started searching about hidden messages and noticed that from 0:50 the robot man lights spell something too but i wasn't sure, weather it was in binary or morse and also noticed that there was something at the end at 4:46 in the receiving set (radio) '' 197.9 and 20:30 '' if you write it without punctuation you'll have '' 1979 and 2030 '' (maybe check on google...) aaaannd finally at 4:25 i noticed some numbers (i'm not really sure they really are) while some lights started turning off in those buildings. and for the girl's drawings i couldn't really understand (maybe those shapes represent a code language like morse...)
hahaa i guess this totally got me obsessed lol
P.s: btw im not sure of any of these informations, i was soo excited to discover smth

*Real* Lyrics:
Every time the lights are turning down
Then I try to close my eyes to see my hometown
I don’t want to change my life
I need to go back in time
I feel like a child
Wearing this golden crown
Why do I need to play with my mind?
The future and the past are really confusing
But I keep my feet on the ground to keep dreaming
I don’t want to change my life
I need to go back in time
I feel like a child
Wearing this golden crown
Why do I need to play with my mind?
(Note: these lyrics were given by French 79 to Martin Mey for his piano cover of Hometown so we know they are correct. Seems like the lyrics sites just guessed the words)

This song reminds me of how much of a rush life is, everything just has to go fast if you wanna get somewhere in life or that's what we see on a daily basis atleast. Gotta work fast, study hard, and all of that just to get old and have no use for all the hard work in the end anyways, we see people rushing for trains, getting annoyed in traffic jams. All because that's what society requires of us and it's pretty sad. Modern society wants us to rush our lives giving us little to no time to actually enjoy it.

I'm listening to this while going through my old Tumblr blog, and I can't describe what I'm feeling. It's sad and beatiful how fast the time goes by, and you just can't go back. All you have is old pictures and memories.
Time is weird fucking thing man. It’s sad how fast it goes and in the end you’re left with only the memories. Like a picture in your head and a feeling in your heart.
I've never been affected by a visual art like this. It feels so special. The music is good, but the passion in those actors eyes. This expresses sentiment so strong it hurts.
Maybe a little late but damn i feel exactly like that! The tension when they waited for this... thing to happen again, not knowing if it ever will, and (at least it felt like that for me) also being a little ashamed of being so pleasently anticipating it and idk like sort of hiding it from the people around them and feeling sort of special that it happened to them allthough it happened to everybody or at least multiple persons but they don't know because they didn't tell anyone because they were afraid it would destroy that special feeling they got from it.
And then it _did_ come back, and they were so lost in their own fullfilment and joyfulness.
I don't even know whether anything was meant like I experienced it but it definitely created a feeling, a really strong feeling or atmosphere or whatever without saying anything and that made it very special and intense

I love how each of these people is experiencing something extraordinary. They're scared by it at first yet once it's gone, it stays with them, they're unique, with their own experiences of it. For the moments that they see the lights, they're entirely unique and alone in the world, and they crave it again, to understand more. It's beautiful.
This is perfect. I absolutely adore this song. It makes me want to dream, it makes me feel like there is a special purpose for me. I dream of opportunities and peace in this video. I love it more than anything. It calms my mind of every bad thing I swear.

I heard this for the first time when me and my girlfriend went to Paris last year. We got back from the city, left the lights off and I stepped on the balcony with a cigarette, looking over the peaceful city glowing at night, just barely seeing the Effiel tower above the roofs of tall black apartments. Smelling the smoke mixed with the cold night air. She turned the song on her speaker and came to me to tell me how beautiful the view is and how happy she is to be here with me. An amazing moment in my life, I hope to never forget.

I love how they are all cautious and have a childlike curiosity about what’s going on slightly worried the first time. It’s something that surprised them from their normal lives. Their way of thought has changed now. Their normal lives are missing excitement. They now look for the action again but don’t find it for a while. The action takes on their life and they think about it while going through their normal lives. They search for something like it nonstop effecting others around them. And finally they find a blissful surrender when they find what they are looking for. They feel connected to something bigger. They are now more...
For all of my adult life I've been obsessed with Carl Jung's concept of synchronicity, meaningful coincidences that feel like there's some external force reaching out and speaking to you in the most peculiar ways. This video described perfectly what it feels like to me. A longing for it's return and the sense of wonder that accompanies it. It feels so beautiful when it finally does. Gives me chills.

I don't know why, but the concept expressed in the video (at least in the way I interpret it) is fascinating: an eldritch being or entity that uses light and technology to communicate to individuals that have nothing in their lives or are otherwise bored, all giving them meaning through the light and a purpose: "follow the signal"

I don’t see any comments saying this ... this is beautiful .. the universe talks to us, our dead loved ones... they show us beauty in this world, they communicate through numbers flickers of lights.. we aren’t alone, and that’s ok, they’re with us, and late at night when no ones around is when we can truly feel and experience the other side ❤️❤️🧿🧿🧿👁👁👁☮️☮️🌈🌈❤️❤️
I-love that.
i really needed to read your comment;
my bf past away 4 months ago and i am constantly getting small gifts from him & reminders that he is ever-present
This song came back to me at a perfect time. I've been going through things and got extremely close to ending it today. Instead, I turned to my music collection and found this song again. I knew if I died now, I couldn't hear this again.
When Im sad or depressed, I always get on RUclips and play Hometown, ironicly, It makes me feel at home, feel like I can do anything, and think about life, to live it, till the end, as there is no tomorrow
