Please make larger outserts/sleeves varying in weight so the hunter that wants a heavy or high FOC arrow can achieve that without going to another brand. I want to buy Easton but it is difficult with your limited components. HIT inserts suck, btw. Causes a weak shaft tip.
You do that with the insert. They have a brass insert that can be cut down from 75 to whatever weight you want. Easton has some of the best components from what i can tell.
@@dereksteele2284 not even close. The half outs will bust out a sidewall of your shaft on hard impacts. The hit inserts with the collar is the strongest by far.
@@andrewkieper5613 yes, but I would have built the arrow with less insert weight to start so I wouldn't end up with a Tyrannosaurus Rex killing death stick for weight.
Can we stop making shiny components for hunting? For crying out loud, some of us hunt off the ground for giant MATURE whitetails that notice everything.

I have been using Ethics components. I even turn the components on a lathe to adjust taper, weight and length to get the exact weight i am going after. I just wish the big companies would make economical components!

That is what the HIT system should have always came with.
Opinions on HIT vs Half out vs outsert? Pros and cons?
Couple Q’s
Why not have a titanium option?
Any plans for blessing the 4mm Axis with these? I have a few dozen 4mm Match. I’d love to guinea pig some.
Check out the Snyder core system by iron will, if you haven't already.
Why can't a standard insert be made that can be broken of for desired weight like a hit but standard insert for 5mm shafts
Check out Ethics inserts, they make exactly what you want. Actually Easton really misses the mark on arrows with junk and poorly designed components.

@progradepainting3755 I was talking about being stronger than the HIT insert without the impact collar
@@dereksteele2284 even without the impact collar, the half will blow out a wall long before the hit.
So the weight of them vary?? I don't like that
Dernit...just built my arrows with brass HIT, totally woulda used these instead
You still can... its just a sleeve that goes over the shaft
😂

@Qbynordi it's only 15 to 20 grains
Just put 300, 330, 400… on there instead of 1,2,3…

Don’t buy them then.
Paint em 🤷♂️
