I can do them just fine in practice mode, but once I get into the fast paced games with the friends I'm just all instinct. These tips help to try a different method in my practicing

Happy Thansgiving ronin, wanna share this w u. I put Special on R so I could power wave w coil active (even tho u can input dtcoil during a power wave) and im p sure doing a special move will cancel tho coil :(. Also in ur last video u said power geyser during coil is the same as the shaku input but just slamming left and then right on the stick is more reliable and faster. Now i have special on R and jab on L so i can smash attack more consistently w it active.

I have a few questions if you don't mind as a terry that never really used coil seriously and fthrow and bthrow for tech chasing : -couldnt the opponent just DI up on reaction (offline) when they see that the throw we use isnt dthrow or uthrow to avoid the situation entirely or are the throws too fast for that? Alternatively it looks like they can just double jump or hit a button instead of teching. - related to coil, do you really think hard reactions to jump with rising tackle are worth the risk when it doesnt kill that early and you could just check landings ? (Usually to check people in the air I mix between parries, spotdodge attack, TK power dunk and general whiff punishing) Thanks a lot for your time and videos, always nice to see some optimization !
so they can di up on reaction but then you switch gears to focusing on catching where they are going to land, they are either going to challenge you for stage control or go to ledge and thats what your option coverage should be focused around. throwing in faints to get them to burn resources like jump helps since once they commit to where they are drifting you can check mate there landing with any burst option. also at lower percents is harder for a lot of weight classes to jump out of fthrow and bthrow, even if they do they are just trading one bad position for another if you have proper option coverage.

I play on the joycon controller(and i don’t use claw grip), normally when I’m doing grabs, I release the COIL. I frequently do not hold COIL when doing attacks as that makes it quite hard, and so i normally use the single tap coil. I was just thinking if you can charge the coil during the throw animation, then that will make this tech easier for me to pull off.(even if it does require the use of double tap coil)
Hey ronin you think you could cover Terry’s go super armor ? Because I can never tell when to time it right and I get punished when doing it. Thanks :)
aerials can be beat with bw armor or bk I frames or you can just aim for then they land on the ground with grab or crack shoot, grab is best for counter though.
Can you make a video on the lucas match-up with ryu. I main lucas and try to secondary ryu but I want to know the match-up for both characters before I concentrate on other match-ups. I have only fought lucas against like 2 lucas’ as ryu and 1 ryu as lucas.
