In the 60s...our mum always made a party at home....balloons, jelly, cakes ( home made ), fish paste sandwiches and music....we thought it was the bees knees 😊❤
My mum.and dad used community centre whole junior class invited, Dad, postman did sack races where we'd hop along in post sacks to end. Music played via library, The Wimbledon etc. Had a hedgehog cake my sister, 12 years older made with chocolate buttons as spikes. Then we had a screening of Chilly Willy cartoons. This made me reminisce what a lucky girl I was. My 94 year old Mum calls each morning to remind me to take my medication. Sarah has reminded me of what good parents I had.
I only remember having one party at home and went to two away, I also didn't have an 18th or 21st Birthday Party, the next Birthday I celebrated was a 70th.
I'm a 80's kid but I don't really remember any of my birthday's, I don't remember any of my friends birthday's either, but as an adult I never liked them, people always tried to get me to do the whole party thing but I'm way happier just being at home, just another day for me, I even turned off my birthday stuff on FB, I hated getting the fake "wow, happy birthday" messages.
I didn't care for birthdays. But my family also didn't celebrate them as a whole. Had one when I was older with friends and their families, it was very awkward.
Had a birthday party when I must have been like 8 or 9 and my older sister birthday is 8 days before mine and so got a small venture n all and had a disco about 92 when it was like haddow way you don't love me no more and all and am like at the time this her bday party it's not mine for 8 days lol
But, but - You have Roller Skate Derby in there, don't you. I thought that Jedi, sorry Jodi goes there to train? My friend in US belonged to a team 6' of full feminity...

Jodie seems like the ideal english teacher. inspirational dead poets society vibes, or drew barrymore from donnie darko.
My friend hired a limousine to pick her daughter and friends up from school and a studio for the kids to make a song and music video. She's 6!
I'm singing the Tshirt song. Thanks Nick and Sheldon!😂
Love the wookie t-shirt Nick.

The Fenwicks toy department in Newcastle!! 🤩☺That brings back memories. Better than Toys r Us.
Just fyi in case you didn't get it, "chips" here means "fries", what you call "chips" we call "crisps" (apologies if I'm being patronising!)
I hope it's not too hot for you in Vagas🔥🔥🔥
Is Jodi wearing mascara? Her big blue eyes are really popping at the beginning. I can't tell if it's that or the faces Nick's making her pull!

NO to any clowns, they scare the crap out of me. If I see a clown and I’m out.

You drop your kids off then worry and feel guilty, so it's not a full rest, but beggars can't be choosers.
