Too bad the beer magic failed, it looked pretty impressive. Miss Allison will know your name if you come back in 3 years, she is amazing and knows almost all her guests by name. Great episode Thomas, it made my day a little better. Cheers
@@SailingwithThomas Absolutely I forget names all the time, I never forget faces but names all the time. And it is to everyone's taste but I think Paradise Beach Club is one of the best restaurants in Grenada. The food choices are limited but the quality is excellent and you can eat there every day without eating the same. Oh and I think that dog is Sandy.
I absolutely love your films Thomas. I'd love to know a little more about the 'emotional intelligence' (EQ) side of single handing; what were some key drivers for you in making your decision? What was your journey like - practically? What do find easiest/hardest? The impact on friends and family? How long do you think this season or chapter might last for you? (I have no idea if you have a plan or are simply taking it one day at a time). Forgive me if this is all too personal, or just not what you want to share on your channel. It's probably the sort of stuff you'd want to chat about with a good buddy over a beer, rather than blab to a bunch of total strangers! And, if you have already shared some of this stuff and I'm behind the curve - well - forgive me there too; I've obviously got some catching up to do! As ever; thank you for sharing your journey Thomas. It's inspiring stuff. In any event; God's speed. :)
Thank you so much for your feedback and questions. It’s really no short answer to your questions but some great input to consider making a future video about. At the moment I don’t have any schedule except from reaching one of my goals, crossing the Pacific. Cheers 🍻
Another single handed sailor on a large boat! Can't wait to see Be Free racing against Wanderful... Bavaria 55 against Beneteau 49; should be interesting ;-)
Thank you for watching and your comment. I believe it’s not a fair race😅 The B55 will definitely sail much faster.... However this life is not a race, and I’m sure we will have lots of fun ahead of us
Thank you 🙏🏻 yeah I often reflect of the fact I’m super lucky and privileged to live this life. I don’t take it for granted. Pacific islands most likely reopens around March next year so really no rush. I will see what I’m doing before this. Guess early next year is perfect for Pacific crossing. Cheers 🍻
Wow!! Thank you so much for your inspiring feedback 🙏🏻 Friends like you here makes it worth doing my best to share the things how I see it as genuine as possible. Again thank you 🙏🏻All the best 🍻
She is an interesting young lady done lot’s of things right to end up where she is right now. For sure gonna see more of her here but also if she launches her own channel. So far in my journey the most interesting sailors I have met is not on social media or RUclips. Being here comes with a price not everyone wanna pay and it’s not about the money
Dear Thomas; it was a very nice vídeo today, wonderful to find a Wanderful SY, she is really a pretty woman. Thomas, I have a consultation for you: Do you think I can sail solo around the world a Beneteau 55 2014? in the specs, she has Tacking Jib System and Hydraulics winches. I would like to thank your answer in advance. Have "Wanderful" day Thomas!
Offcorse you can do that!! It’s more than capable of long distance cruising. Go sailing and enjoy your beautiful yacht and discover the world! Thank you for watching and being here🙏🏻 All the best and cheers 🍻
@@SailingwithThomas Dear Thomas, thanks for your answer! To sail solo around the world is a project which I am working on it. I know you are a sailor from your childhood, and you had a lot of skills sailing when you have started your solo project, but I have not been a sailor, how long do you think will take to develop the skills to sail solo around the world with a Beneteau 55 2014
Im still learning new stuff as well. You will never go if you wait until you belive you know everything. Better to just go and learn as you go. Most important thing is to know your boat.
