Was looking at my channel feedback and saw that I had never responded to your comment. Sorry about that. Hope you had a chance to bring your wife and son out to ski. Last year was a pretty good snow year late in the season. This year started off really slow, but has picked up quite a bit.
I've been trying to do a better job of adding some more content to the channel and organizing things a bit better. Take a chance to look around and see some of the other content out there. I don't monetize my channel at all, I just want folks to have fun watching stuff.
First day of season...30 days after this was filmed, conditions were awesome!

Yes, this run is still open. Only changes are that they widened it a bit in a few locations, otherwise pretty much the same. Enjoy!!!

Have you tried the runs near middle/lower domingo, There very speedy and has a lot of turns
Oh yeah - I've skied every run on the mountain. The "Headin Home Video" was just to show folks that we do have easier runs, suitable for even the newest of skiers. My favorite is to ski I-25 to "the fingers", play around in that large area with all the rollers, then exit on "Ring". I then go down Lower Domingo and out under the lift. Glad you found some runs that you like. On a perfect day, when we don't have a lot of people on the mountain, you can bomb La Bajada too for a fast curvy run.

Thanks ArcticWulf. Now there are 72 runs I think. Way different mountain from when it started, but still a great place for newbies (why I did the video, so they aren't scared of it).

@@ryanchase5535 Thanks for that. 2017 to 2018 sucked, we only got about 55 inches of snow all year. This past year (2018-2019) was awesome with over 300 inches. Christmas skiing here can be iffy. We get most of our snow in January. If you can get away for MLK Day or Presidents day, the snow will probably be better, and less of a chance getting here to find only a few runs open. Regardless of when you come, message me and I'll buy you a beer. Question to you about the 7 years comment. Did you post this initial comment 7 years ago, or were you just referring to the fact I posted this 7 years ago. I have seen some delayed posts come through that I have responded to, but never one that long.

This was filmed back in 2012 with an original GoPro Hero...they are definitely better now.

@@tate_jn8600 That is great. I have a Hero5 Black that I use now. Check out some of the newer videos on my channel (within the last 2 years or so), and those are with the Hero5. Yours should look awesome...I have been thinking of upgrading to the Hero7 for the improved stabilization, particularly for my airplane videos.
