It’s a lot more fun than Taos. Not as big or steep, but the whole mountain feels like a party and is super laid back. Taos felt very “ stiff” with the people there
its in new mexico? im confused... its a good resort if you have kids or youre beginner to intermediate level. if youre into challenges, this resort def isnt it
Frank0020 well Angel Fire has some of the longest mellow runs of any resorts I’ve been to. Sometimes it feels like you’re riding forever till a lift. Def a chill and long resort. It’s also the sunniest of the three resorts you mentioned. Loveland has a lot of moguls and random obstacles in the runs. Monarch has shorter but steeper runs but some pretty nice powder
Come snowboard in Germany, especially in the winter time you will love it. Not many know that Germany has a lot of mountains and snow, but we do in winter.
PhaseSkater Munich is a very nice part of Germany, a lot of rich people live there too. I’m from Bavaria, Germany so growing up I always went snowboarding in the alps 🏔. Bavaria, welcomes everyone 🙂. Have a good night, my friend.
PhaseSkater Honestly, if I where you I would go to the Zermatt Resort In Switzerland 🇨🇭, because I have been there before and a lot of Brits, Americans Canadians and Australians snowboard there so English speakers would be easy to find.
PhaseSkater the best resort in Germany, is in Oberstdorf, but you’re mainly going to find locals snowboarding there but you do have good chances of meeting a guy like me which can speak English to a decent degree and help you out.
you know moguls are created by people who cant ride straight down steeps so they zigzag out of fear on their edges right? its not like they have a mogul machine out there making them lol. so dont say '' destroying moguls'' when moguls are literally the after math of jerries destroying a perfectly smooth groomed run or smooth powder run
Never seen so many Texas license plates and pick up trucks in a ski resort parking lot in my entire life...
well... that's where the nearest population center is so...? give the same observation at the winstar resort and I'll be equally surprised
@@slimydick23 teccccchhhhhhhnically denver is closer, and obviously albuquerque, but obviously denver people have better options to ride at
Angelfire and Red River are definitely considered the "Little Texas" for the New Mexico ski resorts.
lol im from texas and ill be hitting the slopes (for the first time ever) tomorrow. May die! wish me luck
@@birdog9633 didn’t Texas get snow this week?
Thanks for the edit, place looks fun as hell!

Looks like a blast!
Nice video I’m heading up to angel mountain this weekend can’t wait
Just wondering. Have you gone down Jaspers and Glory hole? Because they are my personal favorites
How was the slope so darn empty
Free flight is a blast
Was it crunchy and what time of year did you go?
no crunch. pretty soft dry snow while being warm. i went late feb. going to try taos this winter
👊👊
Thinking about going three how good is the snow In late December early January is it good for first time skiers
I’m driving there right now lol
Hi, did you like it? Wondering if it's worth the drive from New Mexico. I have some discounts coming. Around kids xmas. New yr holiday.

@@PhaseSkater Like 5 hours.in NM. away..lol...Just looking for nice snow longer runs..I got some people that live there, but I'm in CA. TY.
@@PhaseSkater I also get a discount at Monarch and Loveland. Looking for cheap hotels, in those too.

The best black run for snowboarding is under the Chili E at top....no moguls....its a sweet chute
The only problem is it’s only open for like 3 days out of the year
Hey I snowboard there a whole bunch I love it up there!!
XxWheels13 Xx I may go again next year, if not I’ll ride Taos
@@cm8761 what is?
Sorry abouy the HAHAHA thing. But i love your videos!!!
@@cm8761 thanks. im for sure doing taos this year though. got the mountain collective pass!
Niceee bro. I have only been to angel fire for snowboarding like 3 times
Thought the hardest run is C4, you do have to hike to get there so that adds onto it.
Is minder binder really the hardest run? It was one of the few blacks open and I was happy to complete it
Yeah it’s not that hard. The moguls made it harder. I’m sure on a deep powder day getting fresh tracks it’s super smooth and fun
@@PhaseSkater ah bummer! I was hoping I was better than I thought 🤣
Silver Chute is the most difficult at Angel Fire, but if you can’t carve the moguls maybe stay off of them instead of destroying them

Either way, minder is not the hardest run. I would say silver chute or angels plunge is
