  • HOW TO SEE THE 7 LAKES IN BARILOCHE, ARGENTINAS LAKE DISTRICT!
    After our crazy, eventful and long journey to get to Bariloche, you can see it here if you missed it: • OUR WORST TRAVEL EXPER... we wasted no time planning a few days out to see this beautiful place. This is our second day exploring Bariloche with our hire car and the best way to see the 7 lakes!
    This route is beautiful and we had a lot of fun driving through these beautiful Patagonian views (makes a change from hiking!) This route of the 7 lakes is accessible for all and although you can do a bus tour from Bariloche, a private hire car is definitely the best way to see the lakes and the roads are smooth and easy to drive.
    As always we hope you enjoy the video and for those planning a trip we hope this helps give you an idea of how you’d like to go about exploring the 7 lakes in Bariloche.
    Upcoming Videos!

We started this RUclips channel to share our experiences with friends, family and anyone who plans to travel to the places we’re visiting. We leave TKT tips/facts in our vlogs and blogs to give information that we wish we’d had before visiting. We hope you find our content fun & useful :)

    I'm not sure if you completely understand how wonderful it is for Argentineans that people from abroad come and enjoy their country. Mainly because there's been a couple of rough years economically speaking and seeing by other eyes enjoying their country is a great feeling. Argentina was built by working European emigrants, this is why they want to make people feel welcome and make your visit the most memorable possible.

    What a beautiful day driving around nature, sounds like a great idea to hire a car instead of going on a tour bus. How amazing is that view of the last lake 😍🤩

    The change in weather surprised me for some reason!
    It is pretty cool you can visit them all in a day.

    Wow - the scenery there is absolutely amazing. And it's so cool that there are 7 (or 8 if you're being technical) lakes so close together. I like the tip about hiring the car and going at your own pace so you can spend time where you want rather than where the tour would take you. The history and stories along the way are so interesting too - but honestly it's so pretty there, I would be happy just sightseeing in the area. It would be so much fun to get out on some of those lakes in a kayak or boat. Kirsty - you gotta keep your head out of Craig's view of the signs! How dare you 😂😅

      Days like this we wish more than ever we had a camper, could have just stayed somewhere along the way and relaxed for days, kayaking and adventuring at different lakes.
      How dare I block the sign with my crazy windswept hair! 🤣

    Question... Where did you hire your car from? At what sort of price?

    • @TideKnotTravellers
      @TideKnotTravellers  Год назад +1

      Thank you, it’s a beautiful place to drive around although car hire in Argentina is quite expensive, we went to about five different hire places and got ours from Da Car in Bariloche high street. We show it here in this video along with the price: ruclips.net/video/wl9Dx_i0P0Y/видео.html I think it was around £40 per day. Enjoy you’ll have a fantastic time!

  • @nataliegates16
    @nataliegates16 Год назад +1

    Okay I realize this may or may not be an impossible question haha. But if you HAD to choose between Bariloche, Mount Fitzroy, and Perito Moreno... Which would you choose first (and second)? 😏 I'm going to be living/working in BA for a month Oct-Nov and want to do a couple trips away from the city, but probably won't be able to do it all this time around sadly

    • @TideKnotTravellers
      @TideKnotTravellers  Год назад +1

      Ok, so if you have just a short weekend break (2 days) we'd recommend doing Perito Moreno in El Calafate as you can do it in one day. For El Chalten that is probably worth doing at least 3 days there (long weekend), it's a hiking destination and a beautiful little place to arrive and just walk out of your front door into nature but there's a few trails you'll want to do plus great restaurants to visit while you're there. If you had 5 days you could combine El Calafate (perito Moreno) and El Chalten in one trip as the bus runs twice daily between the two towns. Bariloche again would recommend a long weekend with at least 3 full days and a hire car to get around it all. You'll have an amazing time whichever trips you fit in. Perito Moreno and Fitzroy hike are two sights that will just stay in our minds forever, truly breathtaking! Hope that all helps. 😊
