JYP has been flexing their MV budgets all year, but this was their biggest flex yet. I'm pretty new to Stray Kids, but I know that any time Felix is on the chorus good things happen.
Stray Kids' creativity always blows me out of the water. If you haven't seen their God's DDU-DU DDU-DU performance from Kingdom, it's incredible. I couldn't believe it was a single take in a single space until I watched the full cam version.
Bang Jae-yeob's editing is literally the most legendary work I've seen in years. It's been mentioned he literally storyboards his editing ideas beforehand. And as an artist,I.N.'S it's so cool to see how his mind works when it comes to editing Stray Kids' mvs! ALSO SO HAPPY YOU GUYS MENTIONED I.N'S BLONDE HAIR!!! Literally lost my mind when I saw him, he looks so good with that color and style 😭
The RUclips logo was a heart. Not a play button. A heart. And Chan threw away the F, so no Fs given. The beginning references the Shining a lot. The carpet, the maze, the chopped door that Lee Know pops his face out of....All references.

I don't get the Shining homage in the beginning of the MV, but it's still an amazing MV. Thematically it's jarring. But since the MV itself is brilliant and the director is clearly a master, I wonder if the director is just a big Stanley Kubrick fan and took the opportunity to show their love?
