Actually, there is a second version of CODM without gambling elements as (private) gambling is forbidding in some countries. I know you (have to) play this version in Belgium and some countries in Asia. I guess, you just can buy this stuff at a fixed price only in these countries.

I make 120k annually, so it's not really bad for me, imo especially if I've been playing since beta. Is it gambling? Yes, but if you accept the amount and your having fun withh what you spent on knowing that you consent to the spending I dont see anything wrong, but what I see whats wrong is deceiving people with the low price in the beginning of the draws!

this is soo true. I wanted to buy a gun from the early days of codm, but had no money. When I really bought a gun recently, I had to pay $60 to get the dlq 33 skeleton skin gun. I wouldn't even think of buying it if it was displayed as $60 beforehand. But I was in the middle of roulette, so had to finish buying.

I never had a legendary gun or characters on my account, it's too expensive and kinda unfair. the chance of getting a legendary is very very low, I know, but come on. All I can do is wait for the team-mate or enemy to die and drop their legendary weapons and pick it up.
I thin last season they gave away mythic (?) M4 and I think a mythic Grau 5.56 for free, too. For the last one, you had to have become Legendary six times during the season, either in MP or BR or a mix of both. So, quite a lot of time to spend...

I own 8 mythic guns and 17 legendaries. I've never gone into one of these "draws" hoping to get lucky. I just see it as buying the gun at full price. I've put a lot of money into this game but it's a hobby I enjoy. Another hobby that makes me happy is playing clarinet and I've actually spent more money on that. So if you've got the money just enjoy it. My heart does break, though, for children and others who don't have the money and actually think these draws are not rigged.

As an og in codm this is the reason I quit codm between 2019-2023 when they introduced mythics it was a big gap between free to play and pay to win. I did a test with the base and mythic m13 after they first nerf it The reload is slightly faster on the mythic than the base And the recoil is more manageable than the base
This is why I left that POS mobile game, with the toxic fanbase, tryhard toxic players, the scam lootbox draws that'll eventually become free, and many many more. It was one of the best decision I've made, I actually knew someone who fell in to debt by betting too much on that "lucky draws" that he kept pestering me on lending him money. Definitely a POS game made by POS developers.
There is no luck involved, its just a confusing way to sell you 150€ skin. Just keep in mind that legendary/mythic skin are 150€. But you can have a bunch of « purple » skin in the 5€ battle pass. And if you hit lvl50 of the battle pass the next one is free.

other than Game Pass i do not spend money on any draw or offers, and having game pass is even better since I can level till 100 and win back more COD MONEY, enough to buy the next pass really. other than Game Pass i do not spend money on any draw or offers, and having game pass is even better since I can level till 100 and win back more COD MONEY, enough to buy the next pass really.
