Zero Off and sound system functions should be integrated into the Garmin displays. The lower dash positions are awkward to look at and the Rockford Fosgate sound controls aren't useful. Bimini deploy is much improved over R3, 5, 7 but that stanchion is in the field of view so, that is a bit of a negative.
This is hands down the most detailed walkthrough of any of the new Surf Series Cobalts! Any way to show the "anchoring" mode on the glass cockpit, or is it just a terribly boring feature? :)
Hi Rob, Thanks for the positive feedback! Anchoring mode on the Garmin screen is just another pre-set display for each screen like the other modes (Cruising, Surfing, etc...).
Very nice review...thorough and professional!
