If just for the Crystalized Eleganza, Anetra should have won… And Spice should have been safe… Judging this season is truly inorganic… #teamanetra for the win 🙏🏽👼❤️🥂🌈🇵🇭
Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaame 😭 my heart breaks for anyone whose family does not accept them for who they are... I wish I could help, but all I can do is teach my kiddos to embrace everyone for who they are, and love them for the little people they are 🥰
Oh god…shattered. I get that not every mother is warm and embracing. Some are fierce and demanding but - everyone deserves to know they are loved by a mother figure. You can see the loss of that is pure pain for her and it’s just crushing. And especially watching that as a mother who adores her son. ❤ If Anetra was my baby…I’d be so very proud!
no FR i have not been through nearly what she has, but i haven't talked to my mom in years and when i am at my lowest, i say the exact same thing and it BROKE me
As a mom, it KILLED me. Although my son isn’t LGBTQ+, if he were, I’d still adore him. He’s my child. He’s not perfect, but he’s perfect for me. Any parent who would disown their own child for something so small in the scheme of things doesn’t deserve to be a parent. I’m not trying to minimize the experiences of LGBTQ+ people, but as a mother, of all the things my kid could tell me or could happen to him, this was the least of my worries. I live in Vegas, and would love to go give Anetra a mom hug. Hell, I’d love to adopt him. 🫶🏼
That Anetra scene was the first time I’ve cried real tears watching drag race in years. It was so vulnerable and a valuable reminder of why this show is so important.
As someone who was close to his family but ultimately disowned when I came out, I was on the verge of tears the entire time. Being disowned by a mother you loved so much is one of the worst feelings in the world.
Anetra's crystal look she made was not just the best look of the night but for me the best of the season so far. The edge, danger and drama of that outfit is one of the most captivating things I have ever seen on that stage. It was mind blowing.
Anetra's third look was Met Gala-level. It was not only because it was so jaw-droppingly beautiful. But it's also because she had to conceive and execute its design with found materials in basically no time at all.
@@RavenCategories its still rlly good LOL, she doesnt own the rights of adding spikes to the back of dresses. tbh i feel like anetra did a better job. even tho aura's reveal was sickening, the rest of her dress was just black
@@polskigeorgebut the “just black” was simple and beautiful. And necessary as it did not distract from it. Anything else would’ve been too busy or taken away from the shock value.
somebody mentioned it in the workroom that that was the inspiration but maybe production/rupaul said no or sth else happened but they must have dropped it
No one wants to see the exact same thing on the stage every single week. People usually get dragged for this (ex: Bosco). Have a trademark, but mix it up so we don’t get bored.
On top of that you should do at least a decent job and she was doing very bad for the past few episodes. :P The brand is not gonna push you id Drag Race if you simply cannot perform.
Spice did do that every week. Unfortunately, Spice has one box and can't think outside of it. Every silhouette was exactly the same. Every garment she wore all season looked exactly the same.... Just a different color. It was so boring. She is really really bad at lipsyncs because she has no idea how to 1) dance and 2) command attention on a stage. Her only experience was performing in 15 second bits and it really shows. She just isn't in the same league with....well any drag queen.
@@dbutler85thank you. The sugar and spice bit was cute, but painfully amateurish. They brought viewers and conversation. But can we go back to the performers?
I honestly think my top three of the season are Sasha, Anetra and mistress Edit- 1K likes Ayyyyyyy, I know that doesn’t sound like much to the casual commenter, but I’ll just say that I really appreciate it:)
Same. I've never gasped like that. She looked beautiful the way she came out and it's a beautiful dress. Maybe I was half asleep towards the end but I feel like they didn't give her the praise I think she should have gotten.
Anetra is conquering more and more of my heart with every new episode. That last look? Are you kidding me?? On a more serious note, when she was talking about her family situation, my heart actually broke for her. It was such a raw, sincere, vulnerable and beautiful moment... As someone who cut contact with family years ago and has felt the pain connected to not having them in my corner, I cannot even imagine her turmoil of feeling accepted for a second and then being disposed of.
I find it interesting that rarely ever bigger queens win "fashion" challenges and also pretty much all of the queens labeled "fashion queens" have the stereotypical size 0 bodies even though we had so many polished and fashion foward plus size queens in the past(either high drag or conceptual)... All that to say that I feel Misstress should've won and I am rooting for her to win the whole thing.
Eureka and Kim Chi come to mind. They both had some stunning and creative looks on their seasons and have only elevated their fashion since. It sucks that plus size queens don't get this recognition.
@@ladyhella7560 It may be the case, I feel like people would be very confused if she wasn't doing extremely well in the comptetition. Still, there is something about how mature Mistress' drag character is that really makes me want to root for her.
The show already categorized them as “plus size queens”, doesn’t really matter to them if kimchi is a fashion girl or if ginger is a comedy girl or if eureka is a dancer. To the producers, they’re representing being the big girls and that it. And they always assume an attitude that is like “oh if you wanna know more, look them up” like they’re not explaining the whole concept and personality and entire thought process behind some queens in the show, queen who happen to be skinny. But when it comes to big girl, the show doesn’t really care, the most they’ll do is be like “oh, xyz is a pageant queen, she’s seasoned and old, slay mama” like what, no, gives the same amount of interest that you give to others
Michelle critiquing Anetra's facial expressions was just a way to excuse not giving her the win for the episode. She doesn't look angry, she looks fierce.
@@ladyreverie7027 anetra is clearly a lovely human but I think michelle knew from her own experience that anetra does have a tendency to look evil when not thinking about it
@@Talk2WandaVision Right? Hopefully the twins approached this in a somewhat calculated way as an opportunity to get a wider audience and make tv connections. When Bussy made the joke about the twins taking over for Guy Fieri, it got me thinking. I think the twins would probably be really good at that sort of show. Or a ghost hunting show. I would 100% watch a reality show that was about drag queens trying to conduct paranormal investigations.
They clearly don't need RPDR more than the show needed them. They are already stars, they have a brand, a mug and now the budget! I think they are young and don't have all the skills for this show but I love them and wish them anything but success... RPDR will never get their vibe
How can you say that when they were given so much freedom by production? They were allowed to do the weird couples lipsync. Spice was allowed to go through like 3 separate challenges she shouldve been in the bottom for. I would normally sympathize that production forced a Sugar v Spice lip sync but it wasnt even that produced: the twins did by far the worst that episode with Aura. Picking them wasnt some Machiavellian scheme. I know this is editing and not so much production but they also got so much screentime in these shorter episodes than the other girls. I just dont know how you can spin this whole season as being somehow unfair to Spice
Wholeheartedly agree that from I saw Carson tell Spice her look needs more personality, I knew this was her elimination episode because whatttt lol. I feel like she's been almost too consistent with the personality. I could see if they told her they needed her to mix it up and diversify blablab but yeah
It doesn’t help that I don’t really agree with either of their eliminations either… like as a slight fan before they were announced on the cast I knew for sure that they wouldn’t make it to the top 4/6 but I definitely didn’t expect to disagree with *both* of their eliminations
Agreed!! I feel like Sugar and Spice competing was a great reminder that: a) It takes time to learn, grow, and perfect your craft and b) Not to take everything so seriously.
yeah Sasha looked okay but a few hot glued appliqués, a glittery loincloth and… some wires? I’m sorry this is Jorgeous levels of effort (and everyone was mad then) say what you will about Marcia’s look but her corset alone probably took more effort to make
Yes!!! I’m so glad to see people able to maintain some objectivity! Sasha’s made look was very reminiscent of other things she has worn in the season as well. I didn’t find it particularly all that exciting or complex to make. I think she got a pass because her body is amazing and everything looks great on her but there was nothing truly spectacular about what she did. Anetra on the other hand made a whole fitted gown with beautiful detail, finishes and execution. Sasha Colby is definitely amazing and deserves all the accolades she is getting this season but the favouritism is not it. Anetras third look rocked so hard .
Yeah I’m fully a sasha stannie but I also care about fashion and that just. Wasn’t fashion LOL if it requires a beautiful body and face to look good then the garments just aren’t good!
I loved Marcia this episode. But I think Sasha won more off how visually distinct her looks were. both from the other girls and from herself. Marcia mightve hurt herself by doing pale colors and a skirt in all three looks (her second to last and last were giving very similar energies). The bigger gag for me is that Luxx didnt win over Sasha. The first look wasnt my fave but the second and third hot damnnnnnn
I never heard of sugar and spice before Rupaul…mainly because I don’t use TikTok xD. But omfg, Spice was eliminated unfairly !! They were clearly out to get her and it’s so upsetting. All her outfits were so CUTE and it’s not even like they are relying on her body alone. I need them to judge fairly and stop trying to push their own agenda/narrative.
im sorry but spice definitely deserved to go this time around. she was serving the exact same silhouette all season but in a different color. i get branding but it was extremely predictable, there was really no growth with her, just the same wavelength throughout. the judges have definitely proven that they don’t want to see the same thing runway after runway
I think it was Spice's time to go, she just shouldn't have been sent home in this particular episode. Her looks really weren't that bad, so eliminating her during the Ball seemed unjustified.
This to me reminded the Bag Ball of S13 where Utica had by far the best 3rd look she made, as Anetra, but the win was given to Gottmik/Sasha for the overall good looks even if the last one was not jawdropping
honestly bring back the making 3 looks challenges lol. Or 2 looks. Its weird to me that the girls show off 2 looks they brought and then one they didnt because how is that supposed to be weighted? Anyway Anetra's 2nd look was one of the worst looks if not THE worst look this season, so im not sure if she should ever be allowed to win but yeah I agree that weighting the third look seems a lot more appropriate.
Definitely feel like Sugar and Spice were fun to watch and their style makes sense to me. I really find them adorable and hope that they'll just continue growing and performing in the world.
Spice was such a pleasant surprise and so enjoyable to watch this season. I loved all her looks tonight and was sad to see her go. The final looks for this ball were, in my opinion, the absolute best collection of ball looks they've had in recent years.
Literally eleven hours after the episode airs, Sugar and Spice performed at the Ivy in Sydney during World Pride. They did a "Shantay you both stay" act. Amusingly fitting.
I honestly just love how both Spice & Sugar took Drag Race as a fun opportunity. Like I feel like deep down both knew from the start that they are never going to win given how ppl treat social media celebs in such shows. They were in it for the fun and the exposure they can get from it and I loved every second of them. They were cute, funny, and wholesome.
I really liked your critique of Carson and Ru's crits of Spice. I like how you offered a different way to give the advice while maintaining the same "spirit" of what they were going for.
Michelle telling spice she wanted to put a shock collar on her was a choice. Spice looked hurt. That was messed up because she was just on brand and doing her whole shtick.
As a mom, Anetra’s story broke my heart!! I actually said, “what a monster!” when they were talking about their mom. For those that think this show is just for the LGBTQ+ community, please know that you’re not alone. As a married woman of 23 years with two young adult (straight) kids, I cry right along side you each week and am so honored to get an inside perspective into this beautiful world that I would otherwise know nothing about. (My kids joke all the time that I’m “disappointed” that they aren’t gay because I always tell them, “you know it would be okay if you were.”🤣) EVERYONE deserves love and RESPECT! And Bussy, I have been following you for a long time now, and giiiirl, you are so beautiful! I LOVE your drag and look forward to seeing it each week. When is Ru gonna cast you!!?? 🥰
I think Mistress did well but I would’ve loved to hear the judges deliberation in this case. For me, her first look was too literal. Polished and tailored. The quotes didn’t make it that unique to me. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
I thought Mistress was solidly safe. Her first look was well done but a bit on-the-nose. Her second look with the Leigh Bowery club kid vibe has been done many, many times over the years. Her third look was elegant and polished but not exactly creative or noteworthy.
Thank you! I feel the same exact way and while I would’ve been ok with mistress winning I think the first look won Sasha the ball for me because she payed homage to the original while still making it completely her own and I think that’s what the brief was all about.
@@hejiranyc safe? lol Sashas looks are all safe she shouldve been replaced by Luxx's. Sashas only look that is truly a stand out was the 2nd look and thats it. Her 3rd look was just a bunch of applique and a fabric tied around her hips lol. pretty much the same concept as Spice.
@@jjjjjjj.03445 I agree! Sasha shouldn’t have won either, but you have to admit that she could pretty much sell any piece of trash and it would look like fashion. Despite her awful second look, Anetra should have won; her crystal ball look, arguably the only look that matters in the competition, blew everyone else away.
I think it would’ve been better if she just sat on a throne or something because although you’re right, the audiences main focus shouldn’t be her ankles fighting to withstand the pressure.
See that’s all I could think of but the concept could’ve been better executed by both. It just gives more of an elementary project with the big ass blunt and oversized leaves😭
i’m kinda convinced that last week they didn’t expect anetra to save spice, too. they put jax there as a failsafe in case she did but it felt like it was all on the cards for spice last week and anetra acted with a different strategy than most would expect in the moment i was certain spice would go this week (and her lip sync didn’t help) after last for this reason and whoa! she did
I thought Mistress was gonna win too! But I think in more recent seasons, they’re trying to be better about evening out wins so we don’t have another Shea Coulee incident. In any case, Mistress is my pick to win the season ❤
Mistress definitely deserved the win this week.. Don't get me wrong, Sasha can do no wrong, but I just think Mistresses ball look is hard enough on a straight sized queen... for it to look SO DAMN GOOD on a plus sized queen deserved a win 🙏🙏🙏
I think Bussy is too generous with the scoring: If 1 star is Lala Ri's bag ball, and 5 stars is Violet Chachki's Crown hand-over gown, then... you get it.
Bro I feel Sugar is gonna get herself in trouble with WOW. Like with all the clips of her spilling stuff and almost saying too much, she might not be getting back on RPDR that soon.
well, they have their own platform tho. And honestly wouldn't be suprised if we found out that production/judges were dissmissive because of that, that they are "just" Tik Tok queens but they weren't willing to be put in the same edit as other queens who were casted as 'Social Media Queens'(delusional and with no performance exp or personality). Not only they are very aware of their drag personas and aesthetic and what they are good at, they have already estabilished platform and they knew to give production no crumbs in terms of drama. Oh, and Spice even trolled Michelle during judges panel. If there ar queens that know how to stay afloat while being at war with WoW - it's those two.
@@cup_noodli agree. they don’t really “need” to do an all stars season. they already have an established brand, platform, look, and personality; which btw is exactly what ru wants you to have. they have the full package. they just struggled a bit to fully execute the challenges. and michelle coming after their brand was so bs. she really just did not like them at all and you could tell. some of the stuff she was critiquing them on was unfair and unfounded. they’re going to do well anyway michelle, despite you 💅🏽
i thought loosey was referencing penelope pistop and i was completely shocked when she said it’s like barbie speed racer when PENELOPE IS RIGHT THERE!!!! they look basically the same, only thing missing were the glasses
Hello Busy. Mistress's ball gown with the crystals on the hem line is beautiful. The late Queen Elizabeth had small weights sewn into her dresses to stop them from flying up whilst she was working. Such a clever idea. Great watching you as usual. Take care. Jane in New Zealand..🇬🇧🇳🇿

MALAYSIA BABYDOLL FOXX’S HAIR BALL LOOK DESERVED MORE LOVE. Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to rate the ball looks together by category - I think it’s hard to judge a hair ball vs a ball ball etc - but I think both Luxx & Malaysia being black queens who did hair ball looks makes total sense to me & they both killed it.
@@daifminaj9670 she didn't, Naomi had a look not even on the show, that was also a Mugler reference? They're both referencing the same outfit, nobody copied the other
While I agree that Bianca did do a lot of the same fashion on her season, the twins are just not comparable to her. Bianca is a seasoned queen who can do anything and everything in the entertainment sphere and is more knowledgeable and experienced than the twins which is why she won. She killed it challenge after challenge despite her similar runways, which is why she never had to lipsync. The twins are just not on her level that their drag can be excused.
I honestly wanted to like her so bad at the beginning but I cannot stand the whining. Mistress giving her trouble in the workroom had me DYING LAUGHING esp when loosey said “I know she’s joking with me bUt I AlSo ThInK sHeS tRyInG tO gEt In mY hEaD”💀💀 GIRL.
Remember that whatever you say once it's going to be feeding the narrative. They need to have the delusional queen (LL), the shady queen (MIB), the confessional queen (LNL), etc... it's an entire script for a season, they are probably pushing the narrative in the confessional with questions like "do you think it was unfair ?" " have u felt unseen?" And such. They are sequestered and only speak to the interviewers, which uses all in their hands to get the storyline they have written from the beginning. Once you are mentally broken, they might let you win or go. Look what they did to Spice, the whole chapter was "you do this wrong, you do this simple, you look stiff" until she was spiritually broken.... It is reality TV
@@user-mz2ne4yh2t I think she is mostly fun and wit, the think is the edit.. imagine MIB being shady with shady music in the background or appearing as she is interrupting everyone.. she would be the next Silky 😁
The show is produced. It's a production. Just like all reality tv. "Fairness" is subjective and not necessarily in the contract. To be honest, I think going home this episode may be best for Spice in the long-run. Had she gone out last week, her journey would have ended on a very low note. However, by going out this week during a week where many fans thought she didn't deserve the bottom, her storyline ends on a high note. It better allows viewers to focus on and really appreciate all the good she brought to the competition (stupidity, silliness, joy, genuine fun, desire to learn and grow, and her positive impact on the queens) and gives the audience the feeling of "we want more". I think ultimately this will benefit Spice.
Good morning Bussica Queen! 🤗🤗 Thank you for making a morning after working the night shift much more fabulous. This is the perfect segway before I call my mum for her weekly phone call, She English, if you didn't know? 🇬🇧 And she loves watching drag race when ever she's around. 🥰🥰 Thank you for always being spectacular inside and out! 💯💯
hey matto! hope your shift was amazing and that you and your mum are doing well. I didn't know she was english! Glad she likes drag race over there too. :) have a great week!
The first 2 outfits are brought with them. Clearly, Malaysia didn't make that Hair Ball look and Sasha's Weed Bag Ball also looks designer-made, I'm guessing the same for Luxx's Mugler-inspired Hair Ball theme. I'm betting that MIB commissioned her Beach Ball runway, bc I've never seen her look so unpolished. Yes, it's campy but I can't imagine that she constructed this herself.
I totally loved Salina's first racer look and I'm glad you did too. A look doesnt have to be form fitting to be amazing. the colors she used were gorgeous
Yeah, especially (if not exclusively?) in the fashion department! it's an outdated comparison + bianca was on another level when it came to other aspects
The judging is so short that some Comments seems so random. We know it’s not judged fairly, but like you said saying that Spice’s drag doesn’t show her personality Like what?!! I really enjoyed Anetra before but that episode made me fall completely in love with her 🥰🥰🥰
i have a theory that they were told that they could only reference balls that utilize unconventional materials, since those were the only balls referenced on the runway AND on the unaired looks from eliminated queens (that i've seen anyway, i could be wrong).
@@gabel4686 A young skinny white queen wears a potato sack. Fandom: "YASS QUEEN werk that sack" Anyone else wears something pretty good. Fandom: "Well, this is wrong with it, and this, and this, this, and this could be different."
@@dante6985 I liked both of them a lot 😩 Marcia's sack look was a really good mix of camp and couture, ive never seen a versace milk maid before. And luxx's was insane. The hair, the way she sold it, the construction. She has this genius way of making very little do a whole lot (and its not just that shes skinny).
One thing I love about Spice and Sugar is that they just did not give a fuck. Lol they were like we’re just going to have fun and look hot and we don’t care. I love that energy. I had no idea who they were until drag race, but I really enjoy their videos now.
Mistress Isabelle Brooks should have win! If Sasha Colby wasnt as pretty as Sasha Colby is she didnt het that much praise for her racer look. I mean she looked GOOD but Mistress racer look was so clever and the other 2 looks left nu crumbs!
I loved Luxx’s final look. I was gagged. I thought it was the best of the night. It doesn’t have to be exaggeratedly big or small to be Couture. It was Couture.
I LOVED the beachBall look so much!!!!!! I know we have seen it done differently but so fun. ^beach ball emoji needed^ lol & anetras spine glam look wowwww!!!!!!!
Had they kept Sugar a little longer, Spices storyline wouldn't have had to end here. Like them both in a design challenge could have been a fun dynamic, with Sugar probably wanting to help Spice, but also having to worry about constructing her own look. The twin lipsync as the finale of the Lollapalooza could have also been fun. I wouldn't want to send any of the other queens home though, just dreaming about *all the possibilities*
Honestly they made us sit through the Sugar and Spice snatch game but wouldnt give us a Sugar and Spice design challenge?! Whats the point of even having them there lol
Using your scores, which I think were pretty accurate, Spice would have been 3rd place ranked by either total or average. Even counting the third look as double points, Spice would have been 5th out of 9. I feel like they just figured people would be saying she should have gone home on the Lip Synch LalapaRuza so they sent her home now. I'll be shocked if Spice doesn't win Miss Congeniality though!
"Bus Queen" had me giggling, "Smells like Elmer's glue and teen spirit" had me laughing so loud I scared the cat. "I may not be a seamstress, and I may not be a lip syncer, and I may not be what most people consider a drag queen, anyways this look is a ROT." are words to live by. As for Sugar and Spice, the seem to have gleaned their personalities from 22 years of Bratz Dolls, and it shows. They are great for tik tok, not so much for tv. Maybe down the road if they have learned from this experience. Also thank you so much for having real closed captioning, much appreciated. Keep up the fantastic work. You look amazing as always.
I’m sad that Bussy completely skipped the (rare) mini challenge and the work room chatter as we actually got a mini challenge this week *and* time in the work room etc which just shows how quick that runway coverage was! Anetra’s absolutely heartbreaking story physically hurt to watch at points. Such emotional vulnerability from Anetra. Overall, I thought Mistress should’ve won, with Sasha and Anetra also in the top; Loosey should’ve been in the bottom, probably alongside Salina. By category: Start Your Engines: I think Spice takes this on making it hers and truly changing it up, yet it was still instantly recognisable, and I also loved Mistress too Past Balls: for me, this is between Mistress and Malaysia, with an honourable mention for Lux. This was the category with the worst looks though: I’m looking at you here Loosey! Anetra was terrible here, and so was Salina; Marcia cubed had a really questionable but well constructed outfit, but Loosey literally glued a few dog poo bags onto an existing dress, which isn’t allowed in any ball, so take that away and it’s worse than LaLa Ri’s. Should’ve been an automatic bottom placement unless she did anything good enough to redeem herself, but she didn’t. Crystal Eleganza: oh Anetra won this hands down- it was jaw-droppingly stunning, with Mistress second, but not by a huge amount. Salina, Loosey and Spice all had construction issues, of which I thought Spice’s were the most forgivable. So I would’ve given the win to Mistress, personally and had Loosey and Salina lip sync. However, I’m far from anti-Sasha - she’s amazing and I absolutely adore her and am rooting for her to get to the final two, so congratulations to Sasha. And then we had that lipsync. It was dreadful, wasn’t it? They should’ve been made to do it again or it be a double sashay or chantay. Poor Spice was on the receiving end of some serious ‘riggor morris’ there. Drag Race is just a launch pad though and I have no doubt that the twins will be booked and blessed for quite some time.
i love Sasha every episode but i fully don't understand the love for her crystal look. I feel like if any of the other girls wore that exact same outfit the judges would tear them up lol she is stunning though no matter what she wears but i prefer Luxx's look so i just feel insane right now. Also LET SPICE TROT!!! ITS WHO SHE IS. LET HER TROT!!!
Idk if it was intentional but the fact that Loosey's constructed dress wasn't finished well sort of leans into the fact that she's a runner up? Like, if this was a perfect gown surely she would have won her garlic pageant? :P
That's a super cool sponsorship. I didn't understand what it is, I had to google it. By having this sponsor, you are not just helping out, you are also raising awareness of the options!

Yea I likes auras more. And even without someone in the exact same season doing it, it’s a look that’s been done and parodied to hell and back
I think with every episode I'm turning more and more into an Anetra stan......

i stan from day 1
you mean to tell me Anetra's talent show wasnt the deciding factor? lolol

Absolutely!
I personally would have LOVED if someone used Kennedy's crystalized chicken costume as a reference for the third look 🤭
somebody mentioned it in the workroom that that was the inspiration but maybe production/rupaul said no or sth else happened but they must have dropped it
@@ChrysanthemumWine thanks for the clarification honey ✨
@@ChrysanthemumWine I'm almost positive Anetra said something like "this is inspired by Kennedy Davenport's trade didn't like the session" lol
Anetra said hers was inspired by Kennedy;s in the werk room
That would have been iconic.
Rupaul always tells the queens “Know who you are and deliver it to every challenge” Spice has absolutely done that
No one wants to see the exact same thing on the stage every single week. People usually get dragged for this (ex: Bosco). Have a trademark, but mix it up so we don’t get bored.
@@melaninmonroe007 guess Santino never got versatility and it’s contagious🤣🤣🤣if ya know ya know..lol
On top of that you should do at least a decent job and she was doing very bad for the past few episodes. :P
The brand is not gonna push you id Drag Race if you simply cannot perform.
I honestly think my top three of the season are Sasha, Anetra and mistress

I actually gasped out loud & had to pause the tv so I could catch my breath when Anetra came out in her eleganza dress! Utter perfection yo
Right!!! Like the shoulda won over all of them for that look alone
Same. I've never gasped like that. She looked beautiful the way she came out and it's a beautiful dress. Maybe I was half asleep towards the end but I feel like they didn't give her the praise I think she should have gotten.
yes - jawdroppingly stunning
Michele used the critique to talk about Anetra's "resting bitch face" when all she should have been talking about was that amazing gown. Shade
@@daashazireael6613 I really hope it was just the edit & she absolutely did get that. I really do 🤞
My favorite applique on Mistress was "WHO THE F### IS HEATHER?"
I ADORE Sasha. Seriously love her. But Mistress should've won.
Anetra’s crystallized eleganza is so memorable. I fully stan.
I find it interesting that rarely ever bigger queens win "fashion" challenges and also pretty much all of the queens labeled "fashion queens" have the stereotypical size 0 bodies even though we had so many polished and fashion foward plus size queens in the past(either high drag or conceptual)... All that to say that I feel Misstress should've won and I am rooting for her to win the whole thing.
for real
Tbh, I think they just have Sasha to win this, and I have been thinking this since ep 3.
Sasha had my favourite Start Your Engines look, Mistress had my favourite Homage Ball look, and Anetra had my favourite Crystal Ball look.
The critiques werent critiqueing this episode 🤡
they were full on hating their personality 🙈🙈 and apparent rbf
IJS.
Michelle critiquing Anetra's facial expressions was just a way to excuse not giving her the win for the episode. She doesn't look angry, she looks fierce.
Thank you. I thought I was tripping
@@ladyreverie7027 anetra is clearly a lovely human but I think michelle knew from her own experience that anetra does have a tendency to look evil when not thinking about it
I love the twins. I feel bad that they were clearly cast as a novelty and were treated so poorly by the production
I feel like they also knew this as well so just tried to have fun together, what the producers didn't even let happened.
don't feel bad. they'll wind up with more deals and more $$$ and more fans than any of the other queens
Totally agree that Mistress should have won.
same!
Absolutely!
Exactly
Her looks was memorable.
First big girl to win the Ball on US season
@soneheo95 totally agree and she looked stunning in them all. Sasha is gorgeous, but the clothes... eh.
Period. I adore Sasha but facts are facts.
Wholeheartedly agree that from I saw Carson tell Spice her look needs more personality, I knew this was her elimination episode because whatttt lol. I feel like she's been almost too consistent with the personality. I could see if they told her they needed her to mix it up and diversify blablab but yeah
The judging every episode is like "anyway we have storylines to get to folks, sorry about the challenge!"
Yeah
Sasha's sudden crying without a build up story? hahaha that was a bit cringey as it doesnt have a pov.
i thought sugar and spice added a lot of fun to the season and i'm really sad they're both gone :( it doesnt feel the same without them
It doesn’t help that I don’t really agree with either of their eliminations either… like as a slight fan before they were announced on the cast I knew for sure that they wouldn’t make it to the top 4/6 but I definitely didn’t expect to disagree with *both* of their eliminations
Agreed!! I feel like Sugar and Spice competing was a great reminder that: a) It takes time to learn, grow, and perfect your craft and b) Not to take everything so seriously.
Totally agree about the lip sync. My hubby and I were shaking our heads “No” the whole time they were lip syncing.
Imagine a few years from now, when their NDA expires, the tea we will be getting!!
yeah Sasha looked okay but a few hot glued appliqués, a glittery loincloth and… some wires? I’m sorry this is Jorgeous levels of effort (and everyone was mad then)
say what you will about Marcia’s look but her corset alone probably took more effort to make
Anetras third look rocked so hard
.
THANK YOU for saying this!!!
Michele being vindictive? I can see her being that way, she is best friends with Ru.
right
What the heck is Ru up to?? Spice did SO well! Totally bummed about her sashaying away.
I'm sure it was Michelle being vindictive for when she looked stupid by making a big deal over the bunny hop
If there was ever a challenge where spice was safe it was definitely this one. Caught me off guard for sure. But good lord that lipsync was rough
im sorry but spice definitely deserved to go this time around. she was serving the exact same silhouette all season but in a different color. i get branding but it was extremely predictable, there was really no growth with her, just the same wavelength throughout. the judges have definitely proven that they don’t want to see the same thing runway after runway
@@euphoria6772 agreed, spice wasn't robbed at all. She should've gone several episodes ago, and her and Salina were definitely the worst this episode
I think it was Spice's time to go, she just shouldn't have been sent home in this particular episode. Her looks really weren't that bad, so eliminating her during the Ball seemed unjustified.
When I saw Anetra glueing those gems on in the werk room I said please no, but when Anetra hit the run way I was so in love!
This to me reminded the Bag Ball of S13 where Utica had by far the best 3rd look she made, as Anetra, but the win was given to Gottmik/Sasha for the overall good looks even if the last one was not jawdropping
Maybe it’s just me but I still preferred Utica’s first two looks to Gotmik’s
In honor of Drag Race's 200 episode Vogue has a list of the best looks. Utica's bag ball garment is on it.
honestly bring back the making 3 looks challenges lol.
RuPaul puts less and less effort into lipsyncing with every year that passes and it's honestly iconic, love that for her!
My mum liked that bit but not for Ru lol
She's the Mariah Carey of drag for me, I love it
Literally eleven hours after the episode airs, Sugar and Spice performed at the Ivy in Sydney during World Pride. They did a "Shantay you both stay" act. Amusingly fitting.
I had CHILLS when I saw Anitra’s look !!! I think it’s the best look from a design challenge like… ever
It's second to Utica's for me.
@@elegory ohh yes that was amazing too!
This is probably the first episode this season where I fully disagreed with the judges.
The judges are high this season
you are not alone gurl! MIB is totally robbed!
Michelle telling spice she wanted to put a shock collar on her was a choice. Spice looked hurt. That was messed up because she was just on brand and doing her whole shtick.
I felt so bad for her. I saw the look on Spice’s face and how she was trying to keep it together. I’ve been losing it with Michelle this season.
Which is crazy because they’re always so big on personal branding.
Tbh when she said that it took me straight back to how she was treating Adore on All Stars 2
I hate michelle visage - violet chachki

Lucy's runner up costume reminds me of Trixie's auto harp number on her winning all-star season.
Immediately my thought!!!
Agreed - I loved the quotes, but without them, the jumpsuit was a pretty literal interpretation of the original. Well done but not that interesting.
The fact that ru still stands in heels at that age impresses me, everything else is a bonus. Its life's simple things once you hit a certain age kids

i’m kinda convinced that last week they didn’t expect anetra to save spice, too. they put jax there as a failsafe in case she did but it felt like it was all on the cards for spice last week and anetra acted with a different strategy than most would expect in the moment
i was certain spice would go this week (and her lip sync didn’t help) after last for this reason and whoa! she did
I thought Mistress was gonna win too!
00:45 the fact that they decided to show RuPaul barely standing on that stage and cut out all the story makes me mad. :P
I wish people would talk about spice walking off more. It was hilarious. Her saying "well I'm spice" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think Bussy is too generous with the scoring: If 1 star is Lala Ri's bag ball, and 5 stars is Violet Chachki's Crown hand-over gown, then... you get it.
Exactly I hope FPR drags the hoes🤣
I can't believe no one took this opportunity to redo Lala Ri's bag ball gown. That could have been the campiest best thing ever.
@@Laura-mi3nv Clever!

Lala Ri's bag ball would be no stars and Violet passing the crown would be infinity stars lol.
There's no way you put Luxx look at the same score as Salina's and less than Loosey 💀

HAIR BALL LOOK DESERVED MORE LOVE. Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to rate the ball looks together by category - I think it’s hard to judge a hair ball vs a ball ball etc - but I think both Luxx & Malaysia being black queens who did hair ball looks makes total sense to me & they both killed it.
Malaysia and Luxx were def in a category of their own for those hair ball runways. Absolutely incredible!

Anetra best be the first shoot of photo review or am gonna sue for gross negligence 😂

I completely agree!! You could tell she was really feeling those words and I loved it
Are you being sarcastic?
I can't imagine how expensive it must have been for the queens to buy the materials for these three outfits just for one episode
They didn't buy anything for the Crystal look....it was all there in the workroom for them.
Can I have Anetra's gown? That is just absolutely gorgeous! I love a gown so sharp that you can't sit down and no one will touch you.
I totally loved Salina's first racer look and I'm glad you did too. A look doesnt have to be form fitting to be amazing. the colors she used were gorgeous
"Bianca won with the same silhouette!" Yeah, hun, fifty years ago. The competition has evolved and what cut it back then doesn't work now.
Yeah, especially (if not exclusively?) in the fashion department! it's an outdated comparison + bianca was on another level when it came to other aspects
Bianca also has other redeeming qualities

Anetra’s crystal look was so well thought out and put together I definitely thought she was top 2✨✨
i have a theory that they were told that they could only reference balls that utilize unconventional materials, since those were the only balls referenced on the runway AND on the unaired looks from eliminated queens (that i've seen anyway, i could be wrong).

I LOVED the beachBall look so much!!!!!! I know we have seen it done differently but so fun. ^beach ball emoji needed^ lol & anetras spine glam look wowwww!!!!!!!
Girl your mug is simply ✨STUNNING✨
"We've never seen anything like [Marcia3's look] before"
*Miz Cracker's denim and diamonds runway* 👀
i was offended on behalf of Spice being told her looks had no personality
When it comes to Seasoning, it sounds like what Rupaul is actually saying is “This personality is not one we want/like, change it.” Fuck that
Using your scores, which I think were pretty accurate, Spice would have been 3rd place ranked by either total or average.
By category:
Start Your Engines: I think Spice takes this on making it hers and truly changing it up, yet it was still instantly recognisable, and I also loved Mistress too
Past Balls: for me, this is between Mistress and Malaysia, with an honourable mention for Lux.
Gaga wasn't working with McQueen to make the looks for the "Bad Romance" video. That look was taken directly from the "Platos Atlantis" runway.
i love Sasha every episode but i fully don't understand the love for her crystal look.
I literally am in loveeee with Mistress, shes smart, sassy and BEAUTIFUL! Shes a fabulous example of stunning texas drag
The 60 year old straights came out with "steak and brandy" 🥳🙉
Idk if it was intentional but the fact that Loosey's constructed dress wasn't finished well sort of leans into the fact that she's a runner up? Like, if this was a perfect gown surely she would have won her garlic pageant? :P
love how rupauls performance had 40 seconds 💀
That's a super cool sponsorship. I didn't understand what it is, I had to google it. By having this sponsor, you are not just helping out, you are also raising awareness of the options!
I couldn't stop staring at wonky crystals on Mistress's chest...
HELP. Seeing the "big boy" burger mascot has sparked a memory... is there a Simpson's halloween episode or something where the mascots come to life and terrorize them?!? I can't remember properly and yet seeing that image made me irrationally afraid 😅🤪😭
